STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
- Exal Simus is not from around here. She doesn't speak modern Basic, has no grasp of current idiom, and doesn't get current affairs. The modern political balance is outside her experience.
- To her immense frustration, her strength in the Force and her memory have been damaged.
- Exal is a fully trained Zuguruk-caste Sith engineer. In her day, she was skilled in the creation of starships, tombs, traps, Sith runes, and materials alchemy.
- Exal is fluent in all dialects of the Sith language.
- Exal is quite good with a wrist-mounted lanvarok and a Sith sword.
- Exal loves bloodsoup and can't find a decent bowl of it anywhere. This can be distracting.
A Sith Pureblood, Exal actually is pretty exclusively descended from the Sith species. She has the facial ridges and tendrils of her ancestors, and has four clawed digits per hand. She does not dress subtly: think Naga Sadow's taste for bronze, crystal, and barbaric geometry.
BIOGRAPHY:
Exal Simus was born, raised, and trained in the ancient Sith Empire. A descendant of the Sith Lord Simus, though not through a reputable enough line for the Kissai caste, Exal was a Zuguruk-caste engineer. She helped to erect numerous monuments on Korriban, and all throughout the Stygian Caldera.
Exal served in Naga Sadow's army prior to his exile on Yavin IV. Eventually, she rose to command of a Derriphan-class battleship, two hundred metres of outstanding lethality. During Sadow's war against the Republic, however, Exal's tinkering got the best of her. Her vessel suffered a hyperspace accident, not unlike the contemporary Harbinger incident. Exal and her surviving crew wound up in hyperspace for several traumatic years as she tried to fix the drive. The vessel bounced through other places, deadly planes -- Otherspace, for one -- before emerging in the post-Dark Age galaxy. Portions of Exal's memory were gone, and with them much of her power.
History indicated that the Sith had become something unrecognizable. To her intense frustration, she was now considered the least among her inferiors.
