Description:
Taking the use of a blaster pistol is very easy. As such, Cerberus is coming out with a new line of the EX series of pistols, rifles, and other ranged weaponry for the specified buyers. Created by the use of more suitable byers, the EX-1 Hardline is much like a standard blaster pistol, only with its Galven Circuitry, this allows for a standard bolt to be amplified. Creating a stronger and more powerful bolt of energy to be fired from the gun. Normal blasters will not compare to the destructive power of the blaster bolt. Tearing through armor more quickly with less shots fired.

Another additive to the blaster is the ability to charge the shots. Within the grip of the blaster pistol are sensors to determine the amount of pressure is exerted on the grip. The tighter the hold, the more time it takes to charge a shot. Dealing up to twice as much damage when fired. However, the down side is that if the charge within the barrel is kept and not fired after a time, (10 seconds after being fully charged) the powercell can become overloaded and explode. To prevent that, the blaster will start flashing lights on the top of the slide. Warning of the explosion. This can be used as a form of a last ditch effort as a grenade, or simply someone being too stupid to throw it away as it's about to explode in their hands.

A laser can be installed onto the blaster pistol, having a battery life of 7 years with constant use (meaning the laser is always on.) before the batter will need to be replaced. Though, nothing can lie with the ironsights installed onto the pistol. Having a 0.2 MOA on target reaching out to 45 meters.

WITHOUT DEV THREADS
  • Upgraded Galvin Pattern suggests the following:

The Galven circuitry could many times be remodulated to allow for a significant boost in power - equalling that of a medium blasters output, in addition to the blasters current output. However, bypassing factory settings was hazardous to the blaster itself; many times the blaster would melt from the increase of heat and energy. Because of this, a blaster equipped with upgraded Galven patterns was much more lethal than an unmodified blaster, at the cost of a much shorter operational life.
  • I see that you are presenting a weakness for the added ability to charge the shots, but can you also add in that due to the immense amount of potential heat that a cool down time will be required if shot subsequently more than five times. Perhaps a one minute cool down?
  • Please add the weaknesses that the blaster has the chance to melt due to the increase of heat and energy.
  • This will also affect longevity of the weapon as stated with a shorter lifetime of use.
