Description: Simultaneously, Nicolas Thorne lost his best friend, and his weapon. In a duel on Korriban, the Jedi Knight Dair Cotarin fell, and Nicolas Thorne's first lightsaber was shorn in two. After burying his friend on his homeworld of Midvinter, Nicolas undertook a mission to find a new crystal and forge himself a new lightsaber. The Force directed Nicolas to Ilum, where he hunted down a crystal. Along the way, he encountered a Sith Acolyte who had come to Ilum for the same reason, to find a crystal and construct a lightsaber. After attempting to diffuse the encounter peacefully, Nicolas found his new crystal deep in the caves. He brought the crystal back to his ship, and there he forged his new lightsaber, attuning it to himself in the process.
