STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
-Evan has grown into an independent man
- Evan is a very emotional guy. While he tries to hide it most of the time, trying to act emotionless and content, he is often very stressed and afraid. Anger and sadness are possibly his most intense emotions, which may make him very susceptible to the dark side.
- While his emotions can often cloud his judgement, Evan tries to remain benevolent, despite his history. He tries to be what his father turned out not to be.
- While deeply afraid of change, Evan dreams of being a hero in some way.

APPEARANCE:
Evan has long, unkempt black hair that falls over his ears and nearly to his shoulders, having not had a haircut in years. He has scars on the left side of his face from being abused by his father and the other crewmembers aboard the Instigator, Vycho Kenner's pirate vessel. He looks matured for his age.

BIOGRAPHY:
Evan Kenner, son of Vycho, spent his childhood under the care of his father, who spent a night with the first chiss woman he had met in his travels on Coruscant, named Sillah. After coming back into contact with her after she revealed the birth of their child, Vycho immedeatly rushed to her, shot her twice, took Evan, and left her. Vycho had told Evan that his mother was a whore he met in a cantina drunk one night, when in reality, she was a padawan in the Order of the Silver Jedi.

After seeing her pregnancy and refusal to abort the child, Sillah Sheperd was stripped of her lightsaber and expelled from the order. She had gone through a period of depression and suicidal thoughts after her expulsion, but remained vigilant knowing she had a son in her womb. Through her pregnancy, she practiced the force on her own and vowed to become a jedi knight on her own, somehow.

Unfortunately, after Evan's birth and being taken from her by Vycho, she felt nothing but anger and sorrow. She succombed to the dark side and promised to channel her hatred into her deep connection to the force and annihilate Vycho Kenner, the wandering space cowboy, to his knees and bring her son back to train to become the jedi she never will become.

As for Vycho, his adventures with his crew of twenty mercenaries and pirates was just beginning. While he commited crimes and sin on a daily basis, he practically obsessed over the idea of passing his knowledge down to his own son. He did so. Stereotypes aside, a good fraction of Kenner's crew were wise, strong men who helped Evan grow into a decent young lad. They taught him to read, to write, to shoot, to wield a vibroblade, to trade, and even to pilot a ship.

By age ten, Evan had become a seasoned space nomad just like the rest of the crew, but more reserved due to his father's change in attitude. Over the years, Captain Kenner had undergone a lot of stress and worry over the amount of enemies his crew had made, namely his crazy one-night-stand of an insane rogue jedi and countless senators of the galactic republic. Aging Vycho had become moe vile to his crew and abusive to his own son. Evan had been given many scars on his face from being struck by Vycho's hand, and even his knife at times. Now Evan had suicidal thoughts.

It was around this time that Evan began to feel something build up inside of him. He could not describe it, but he felt the same feeling far away, as if it were calling out to him. He did not realize it, but what he felt was the force inside of him, and he felt his mother cry out to him from across the galaxy.

Evan had many restless nights, staying awake at night to feel this undescribable sensation flow through him. He felt as though a big, silk blanket were brushing over and through him, wrapping every part of him in it. Evan would practice this meditation for years to come in complete solitude, in fear of what the crew might think.

Five years later, some of the crew of the Instigator grew tired of Captain Kenner abusing his son and constantly ridiculing his crew, and mutinied. Outnumbered, Vycho and the few crew members who sided with him were subdued. Unfortunately, during the mutiny, the crew had forgotten to keep someone flying the ship, so they crash landed on planet Dorin, homeworld of the Kel Dor. The Instigator was wrecked beyond repair and many of the crew members were dead. Vycho and two loyal friends of his escaped the wreckage, assumed the crew dead, and left.

Evan was left trapped under the rubble, half dead. All he could do was somehow use the force to call out for help, and pray that someone would answer.

Evan was rescued by a scoundrel pirate called [member="Mad Klay Grubber"], captain of the Rusty Lizard. After being taken aboard and briefly interacting with the crew, his call for help was heard throuhg the force by two people. One was [member="Nefertari Sovint"], a Jedi Knight who was determined to find the source of the plea for help and bring him to safety. The other was [member="Riuku Morvol"], a blue-skinned vanr man, who had recently escaped slavery to pursue a new life in this unforgiving galaxy. After being discovered by Nefertari, both Evan and Riuku were taken away from the clutches of the Rusty Lizard in the middle of a firefight between the starship and a Vagaari Warship, whom had attacked the vessel through declaration that they had trespassed into their territory.

Together, Nefertari, Riuku, and Evan travelled to Ossus so that the two young men could begin their jedi training.

After training at the Jedi Temple on planet Ossus for seven months, Evan was invited on a mission to serve the Republic for the first time. Still skeptical of his trust in the Galactic Republic he and his father had hidden from his entire childhood, Evan was cautious. Jedi Master [member="Varus Shatterstar"] took Evan and two other padawans: [member="Ciara Jevnaker"] and [member="Caid Keller"] with him on this mission to assist the Republic Warship Testament engage some pirates. Unbeknownst to Evan, the Jedi Master and the Commanding Republic Officer of the mission, [member="Dallen Thayne"], has staged a plan to make it look as if Thayne has murdered Shatterstar to test the padawans.

Unfortunately, Evan reacted harshly. His already thin trust for the Republic was shattered after this event and he escaped the Testament, killing Republic soldiers in his path.

After his sloppy escape and simultaneous descension to becoming faithful in the Dark Side of the Force, Evan fled and accidentally ran straight into a massive Star Destroyer owned by the galaxy's mysterious wandering crusaders, The Primeval. After sending a holomessage to his only friend left in the galaxy, Riuku, about how he believed the Republic was turning against the Jedi, the Primeval Star Destroyer tractor-beamed Evan's starship and captured him.

The Host Lord of the Primeval decided to allow Evan to leave in exchange for his hand in training. Having grown closer and more trusting of the Dark Side, Evan accepted his place as her apprentice. Unfortunately, after that day, Evan did not have much contact with her. He was able to leave her vessel and go wherever he wished, only bearing her name as his master and that he fights for her faction of crusaders, The Primeval. Evan did not care for them, he still does not. He only wished his master's training.

Since Master Aj'Rou was so occupied with managing her people and her war, Evan had time to train himself. In the fringes of space, Evan met [member="Vassara Raxis"], a Rogue Jedi Knight free from ties to any major faction and not bound to any Code. Evan travelled with her and about a dozen other people aboard Raxis' freighter, the Gypsy Caravan, for weeks. His purpose with them was to search the galaxy for lightsaber parts and to meet other people. While unsuccessful in making any friends among the majority of the crew, Evan spent many of his days with Vassara, learning from what she did while exploring the fringes of the galaxy and studying her holocrons. Through Raxis, Evan learned of the history of the Jedi, lightsaber techniques, as well as how to construct a lightsaber. Because of her, Evan learned that the Light Side of the force is not as weak as he once thought, nor the Dark as powerful.

Evan chose to not walk the path of Light or Dark. He did not completely believe in the Code or teachings of either. Evan chose to walk the silver lining between the two as a Gray Jedi, the path paved by Jedi like Revan, Qui-Gon Jinn, and Jolee Bindo. He would learn both sides of the Force and not be consumed completely by either.

Then came the matter that had plagued Evan for years. His family...
