Establishing the character in the universe

I'm looking for a mixed-type roleplay where I get my feet wet in the Universe and current events, where I and my character learn about things in-universe. It'll start off social-ish before moving to a little action-adventure. Long story short, my character's some urchin from the bowels of Coruscant, an-ex criminal forced to wait tables at some cheap Cantina, ignorant of the wider universe much like I am.

I messaged Janus and his Paladins as he seems a good place to start, though I'm open to other people contributing ideas for me first rp thread.
