Description:
The ability for espionage and the added benefit of Companions being able to utilize a product saw a market for a special type of make up compact with an interesting 'make-up' powder.
Said powder mainly consists of a product called DUST.
Dust was an espionage tool composed of microscopic dust-like transmitters, in appearance it looked like powdered permaglass. It was used to track targets or could be scattered on the battlefield for invisible monitoring.
There was an individual tracking mechanism included in each batch, which was used to tag targets. Dust was most effective when directed at the mouth or face of a target so that it was inhaled. It was slightly sticky, enabling it to attach itself to the victim; and could actively transmit for four to five weeks.
With the aid of an optical EM filter, which detects electromagnetic emissions, Dust could be visually distinguished, casting a pinkish brown tinge on the image.

The inclusion of powderized Elixir of Infatuation.
Colorless, odorless and flavorless, the Elixir maintained its potency when mixed with food or drink, making it difficult to detect. Upon downing the elixir (or anything it was mixed with), a being would become infatuated with the first creature he or she saw, regardless of species or gender.
Though it could be resisted, it was even more potent when the source was of an acceptable species or gender for the drinker. The effects normally lasted between two to five hours, the affected regarding the source of the infatuation as a friend and confidante, even a possible love interest.
However, in this form the effects will normally last between one to three hours as it has been diluted into powdered form and requires the transference via breathing or absorption of open pores, with the conduit being the slightly stick DUST to aid in adhesion to skin.
While not allowing for direct control, someone under the influence could be manipulated by their love interest. Even so, it would prove difficult to convince the subject to do something out of their normal nature, and blatantly suicidal orders would be automatically ignored.
Furthermore, overly hostile or threatening words or actions on the part of the source of the infatuation could be enough to cause the target to break through the haze of emotions in his or her mind, quite possibly leaving an extremely irate being in its wake.
