Appearance:
The Chiss is not a very physically imposing man. He is of about average height, has a normal build, some slightly longer than standard hair and a beard. He's usually seen dressed in a black uniform that is somewhat loosely fitted. Unless at a formal event, he looks like he's more casually dressed, as he doesn't keep his uniform completely straightened out or worn according to regulation. This, combined with an almost constant melancholic expression, gives him a somewhat odd appearance for a Chiss, who are usually renowned for their orderly manner and dress.

Summary:
Erich grew up on Csilla in an upper-middle class family. He was able to visit a rather prestigious primary school in which he excelled greatly. After he graduated from that school he proceeded to go to the renowned Mitth'raw'nuruodo Academy for further education and to begin his training as a naval officer, something he was partially pressured into by his father,
Yet he was not entirely against a career in the military. While dangerous, the pay was pretty good and job security was decent, as long as one picked the right side. So he finished his initial training and transferred to the Naval Academy, where he was trained as a naval officer.
After finishing Naval Academy Erich went out into the galaxy to study various different cultures and philosophies. As he did so, he was exposed to many different influences and schools of thought, making him a very extraordinary individual. Even though he was drilled to formal and always follow protocol, the few years he spent studying various schools of thought made him more relaxed and easy-going than other Officers that come from the Naval Academies of Csilla. After some time, however, he settled down in service of the First Order.
After being posted on various ships at lower ranks and excelling at his craft, the Chiss was promoted to the rank of Commander, despite his somewhat code-deviating command style. He was assigned as the First Officer to a high ranking Admiral, under whom he learned a lot about First Order Naval Command styles. After the time serving with the Admiral he was transferred to command his own ship.
