Strengths and Weaknesses:
+As a member of the Mistryl Shadow Guard her strength does not lay in martial arts it is the cold calm she has behind the scope. Her uncanny sense of perception aids her ability to make the long shot.
+She can do without many of the things that women seem to feel they need for. She is simple, quiet and soft spoken. As with all shadow guards she is devoted to her family, her home.
-does not like to see others hurt it has affected her in the past to where she disobeyed the orders of her clan, of her Prime. It is one thing to harm someone for doing injustice, it is another to hurt them because you are a bully. But how does she tell the difference, and is she ever wrong?
-she shares a gene with Satine that has given her color blindness, where Satine does not see green Erela cannot see blue.
Appearance:
Erela is tall and lean. She moves with a silent gracefulness that many interpret as distance when truly it is her way of listening, understanding the environment around her. Her brown hair often hangs to her shoulders but given to a whim she often cuts it shorter her face compliments any hair style. Her caramel colored skin goes well with any color, she prefers something soft as opposed to bright colors.
Biography:
Erela is the daughter of Eval and Cade Annan. Eval was the sister to Cai D'ulin, the mother of Satine. Eval raised Erela and Satine together as sisters after the death of Cai. Each of them are devoted to each other.
Erela is a traditional Emberlene she believes that women should hold positions of leadership. That is not to say that she believes men are inferior she has been raised to believe only women hold leadership positions. Erela is a strong woman, with the abilities of a Shadow Guard it is her conscience that bothers her.
When she was first placed among the teams of guards the Prime of her group would often look at her as a little sister. A practice most common among Emberlene's to adopt, and teach those who show promise yet struggle with some inner torment. The Prime, Thalia knew the girl needed more time. Unlike others Thalia noticed Erela had an analytical mind took her time this added to her abilities. Over time Erela grew stronger, taller and while Erela feels awkward at times she is a powerful shadow guard.
Erela tends to stand to the side she had shied away from taking the lead allowing her sister Satine to step forward and take the lead on many decisions, and missions. The result some would think has cost Erela a place among the Shadows. Erela does not feel this way, she feels that she learns more from being able to stand back and listen rather than be up front where the words of others are often not taken for what they truly mean. The slightly shift of the body could indicate a lie, when one is too focused on a group they can lose sight of the true enemy before them, the single individual waiting for their moment to step in, and take everything.
Through the ages as Emberlene has changed to become a matriarchy wonders if the reactions of their Elders of the time had been self-serving. Had they always wanted the positions they claimed, or was it truly that they thought the men had damaged them in such a way that there would never be a recovery. The Imperials had never come, their planet was whole though fear had driven many of the clans off world. So few they are as they try to rebuild the clan system, and the Eleven Elders Council.
And now she stands to the right hand of Satine, the chosen representative of the D'ulin Clan. She the older sister once again protecting the younger.
Erela is to be the first used in this new vision that Satine has. Is there a cost? Will this new vision that Satine carried ruin Clan D'ulin.
there is always a cost to change, Erela has decided that credits for the clan are more important and has gone over to work for the Imps.

Having borrowed the money from the Hutt Cartel to modify his racer he lost the race and was unable to pay. He would not sell the few precious things he had to pay them. The Hutts had him captured and brought to them to become the latest edition to the entertainment for their palace.
