Entertainment Contracts

More company contracts was always a good thing, it added to connections with people so you could build up some of the things. The jedi master was looking over some of the larger things they had before as Matsu sat there going over the different sections of it. Saori had proven invaluable with dancers, entertainers and shion buildings they could host plenty of things out of. Now all she needed to do was continue to expand the company into something few others could really compete with or well that would tap into the nice niche markets. The jedi master knew a number of them and their hardlight wardrobes allowed for quick costume changes but they still needed to provide clothig while she was sitting there at the spindle. Business meetings were made to be done but the woman liked having a personal touch to everything she did whenever she could. That included the creation of the different weaves they used in their equipment. "When my latest appointment arrives, send them in please."

Daska had arrived several minutes early, dressed in a sharp business suit and having gotten ten hours of sleep the night before after rehearsing all she would say twenty times over. She needed this to work out if Voss was to keep advancing, and so she had taken no chances. Her company couldn't afford chances.

She was sent in promptly and stood in front of the woman offering the contract.
"Ms Ike, it's a pleasure to meet you," she said, offering her hand. "Daska Voss."

Matsu remained where she was with a grin on her face when the girl entered and offered a large smile. Continuing to work on the spindle as she let it go making the weave that was feeding into the loom. "Welcome to Sasori's main headquarters." Shri-Tal served many purposes and aside from her personal ship which was the real headquarters it served as a great place to come and meet the people. "I was glad to be able to get you here." She rather liked working with the smaller companies to get things handled and ready so they could have everything as needed in contracts. "I so wanted to hopefully get you here for some sales."

"I'm glad to be here," Daska agreed. "You're aware, of course, that Voss isn't a sales company. We don't make products, we host venues. So, tell me about the sales plan - what are you hoping for?"

"And we build venues, have dancers, entertainers as well as make some of the highest quality drinks. Sasori covers many things and has resorts across the galaxy, casinos, nightclubs, sports arena and training facilities. Voss does a few of those things but doesn't have the reach yet." She offered a smile though while bringing out a few of the things. "One such tool for all those venues we made to save costs is hardlight technologies." She held out the small belt emitter. "Instead of needing to spend tens of thousands on uniforms and outfits we can design them and project them inside the venues. Our onsite converters can make drinks and food saving space and we have our own mining and construction for making new venues that can be staffed quickly by those looking for work."

"This was not what I anticipated at all," Daska frowned, shaking her head. "Small or not, Voss is its own company - my own company, and I want to do it my way. I will not pay somebody to do the work for me, because then Voss would become Ike. We make our own drinks from our own recipes. I spend tens of thousands, hundreds in fact, because I want Voss to be the best. I am a businesswoman, Ms Ike, running Voss is what I do and what I've wanted to do all my life. I will not hand it off just because it's cheaper or less effort." Perhaps she was being rude - Daska didn't care. Voss was her life and if all the hard work was given to Sasori then what was she?

"When did I ever ask you to hand it off?" She was looking at her for a moment confused. "I was offering to sell you ways to help increase what you have. I really don't have need of Voss. What I have need of is people in companies that can help each other. It is why I made a contract expo for smaller companies to show their products and get out there to some of the bigger groups and governments, it is why I help out and buy from the ones who might be snuffed out by the larger companies. Voss is interesting but it can always grow and with the entertainment industries dominated by a sith lords businesses and the SSB the smaller companies need to look out for each other."

"I apologise if I took things out of context, I'm just afraid of Voss becoming a subsidiary of Sasori - although I'll admit it is a pretty impressive company. The smaller companies should be helping each other, you're right. So," she continued carefully, "you want to help Voss with venue construction, food and drink production, and uniform and outfit design, in exchange for a sum of credits I presume. I was expecting it to be the other way around, to be
honest, but yes, that could be useful."

Matsu looked at her for a moment and bowed her head. "We can do that and credits are acceptable though I prefer exotics. Materials, artifacts things people can find. Anyone can give credits very few people in the galaxy can offer a sense of mystery and adventure when it comes to getting things." She offered her a small smile and shrug, it wasn't the greatest but well why get credits when you could run around and find exotic materials like different silks, differeint jewels and gems. Any of that was more interesting and given that Sasori didn't charge but preferred bartering for things and getting what people could afford. "Sasori as a company will always help and the companies that have joined it did so because of more reasons then just business. Tell us what you need and we can help if we can."

"Goods. Um..." Daska's mind raced as she tried to come up with what she had to offer. "We try to furnish venues with only the most rare and exotic materials we can get our hands on, so we have plenty of silks and the like. In addition, Voss tries to stock up with vintage drinks for VIP guests, and we have a team of rather excellent pilots who acquire them, so whichever you;d prefer, or either."

Listening to her well there was some nice things about that and she could work with it. the pilots getting the finest drinks might be worth it... in truth she didn't know the real difference and didn't drink but people preferred to enjoy the top shelf and expensive kind. Good for her and all the ones who sold it of course. "Getting rare vintages or expensive drinks could very much come in handy given my upbringing I do not really know the difference. It is all the same to me, something I do not partake in but others seem to enjoy it and I can work with them to get them what they want."

She couldn't help but let out a small sigh of relief as the offer was received well. "I have trouble telling them apart too - you can usually tell by the price tag, though. We have quite a few contacts who know where to go to get the really expensive stuff, and then I have to haggle over prices for a while before we ship them back. If it was for a company as big as Sasori, I could get quite a decent price and especially after that last paycheck. Anyway, given the time I could definitely find something pretty rare. Just let me know the specifics."

Hmm she was thinking about it and still not sure, with what they made in mining planets and straight up discovery thanks to the seeder and probes. They got to many of the worlds and were able to stake the claims so credit wise they had a massive influx to spend making their members happy. "Ah I know, very very soon my workers for Sakura a large medical group spread across the galaxy are going to finish the construction of what will be the largest hospitals in the galaxy. A couple dozen of them to send out and have as orbiting stations, they will need celebration and something very entertaining. Either on zeltros or Spira. Perhaps you have a venue and everything needed these are some of the finest doctors."

"I'm afraid I don't have venues on Spira or Zeltros just yet, but depending on how fast I can upgrade the company I could have something fairly soon - my builders work very fast. Otherwise, I'm happy to provide drinks and so on if that's what you're in need of. Let me know how much specifically and what types, et cetera, and I could have it for you in less than a fortnight."

Hmm well she could handle the venue, shion had the space needed but why not get some of the drinks and things handled here. See how they could do before she left back to continue her research and find what other secrets might be in the republic. "That will be fine, I'll have a list sent to you and the date. We'll get a shion venue easily enough." She was thinking about some of the places and hmmm wondered where Rianna or Leori would like... okay bad example those two were skilled healers and doctors who preferred the whole heal from home simple life but Cathbodua was one she knew and that jedi would recommend a lab.... but also that you had to unwind and eltrons were masters of unwinding.

That all seemed fair enough. "Alright then, if there's nothing else I'll just need something I can sign." In her mind she was already planning out where she could send her pilots to get the best drinks and rarest materials - perhaps they could even find her some exotic jewels if she paid them enough. Daska ran Voss with the basic principle of never doing anything by halves, and this would be no exception.

Matsu gave her a nod of her head and presented the datapad ready for them to sign with everything needed. She rather liked smooth deals they could get ready with quickly. It gave her time to work on the other things she was developing as well. Like the new clothing mesh or hopefully with the Republic some new housing units they could set up.

Daska signed her big looping signature almost without hesitation. This was a smooth deal with a trustworthy partner - as far as one could get from the other contract she'd signed in order to upgrade with some extra money in hand. Yes, a deal with Sasori was a win-win situation; Sasori would have ties to what Daska intended to be a very successful new business and Voss would have befriended one of the most powerful companies in the galaxy.

"Brilliant," she said with a pleasant smile. "I'll look forward to meeting you again when I have your order."

Matsu gave a bow of her head and with the contract signed there was plenty more to do. She knew some of the other things they had going were being ordered up quickly... [member="Joza Perl"] was buying their snack cakes left and right as fast as she could produce them and then burning off the calories in her dance stdio. THat might be the next place to go and work on some of the things. "THank you then and I am looking forward to it.
