Mask Description
With the technology around the mysterious Force Mask being unknown and lost to the Galaxy at large it seemed that having a piece of gear to help fight against the mental powers of force users was gone and the only other alternative was a heavy nutrient frame for a Ysalamir, a void stone, or flimsy and otherwise easy to compromise Terentatek leather. But with a little bit of elbow grease, a can do attitude, and a lot of force powers, Miss Blonde was able to recreate her own version of a Force Mask with a much needed modern update and twist.

How they are made. Starting off with a high tech Durateel gas mask tooled by her personal company, Miss Blonde takes that finished product and sets it aside. It's your standard mask with a few extra bells and whistles and performs well for what it is. But where the masks truly shine are its ability to actively resist mental attacks and probes to help maintain anonymity and protection against force users. Each Mask is imbued with a working of force resistance acting as a large and heavy "brick" that helps stop mental force attacks in their tracks. Each mask's "Brick" serves as a piece of a much larger working that will be covered in strengths. As for how they are built they are your basic masks with a force imbued effect attached to them.

Power. Being a knight, Miss Blonde is capable of a lot of things, but putting a separate and powerful force resistant incantation on each mask? That's something she can't do. So in order to give each mask noteworthy resistance she built a mental "fortress" or defense powerful enough to withstand some powerful attacks and probes. So taking that mental fortress she imbued pieces of it into each individual mask. So while each mask isn't a complete mental fortress it offers enough protection to make sure force users have a difficult time accessing their mind or attacking it mentally. Look at it in a sense that the mask will deflect quick attacks and jabs to the mind, and in order to pierce its defense it will take real focus to do so. But that can be difficult when engaged in combat.

But that isn't the best part of these masks. They are designed specifically for teamwork as when they are in proximity of each other (10 to 20 meters) those workings of force resistance start to reach out and bind together in an attempt to make the mental "fortress" whole again. When more masks are in proximity of each other the stronger they get and the more they can withstand.

Weaknesses. At the end of the day the force power imbued into it doesn't offer it any extra physical protection. Sabers, bullets, blasters, all forms of weaponry can still damage these masks and wound the user. And while these masks certainly can fight off mental attacks they are not impossible to puncture via the force. With a large amount of focus someone can pierce the protective veil around the mask and potentially attack or probe it's user for information. It's a great tool but it of course has its weaknesses that can be exploited. Objects such as void stones and ysalamir will either drastically reduce its effectiveness (void stone) or completely remove the effect (ysalamir) until they are out of the range of the nullification bubble.

Summary. It's a special tool for those lucky enough to have it. It's strong, sturdy, comes with a butt load of extra features and tools. But its main driving power is its force resistance. It's a modern day take on the ancient force mask, and it's quite the asset to have when you want to remain completely anonymous wherever you go.

I like this submission, however I am a bit on the fence as to whether or not to let the whole mental fortress bit slide. Reason being is that I can foresee issues with this down the line with a group of people running around with these masks claiming to have mental immunity to the Force. That being said, one could also make the argument that Vong are immune to the Force, therefore this could not be seen as out of line for what it is.

So here's what I will say for it. The mask is pretty basic, its' only feature being a mostly minor niche Force power resistance for which you've done a bit of dev work for. I'm going to trust that those who use this mask don't go overboard with the idea of the collective gathering of mask wearers using this ability.

I don't mean to pester, and I'm very sorry ahead of time. But is there anything else that needs fixing? I didn't know that the template was updated >_>
