BACKSTORY
Born on the remote planet of Tatooine, Valek and his brother were born into a life of crime. His father was a smuggler and his mother a Pirate and leader of a local criminal group. He hadn't seen much of his father once he turned 4 years old, for he had left the system because of debt to the hutts. His mother stopped her career as a pirate to raise her sons.
Valek started to become more and more of a criminal, swiping whatever he could take from unsuspecting victims. His brother however, was the polar opposite of him, and that is what got him killed during their twelfth birthday. A note was left on his body "Your mother is next". And that eventually did happen. One day when eighteen year old Valek was returning from a shopping run. He found his mother lying in the desert sand, cold as ice. To this day he is trying to find the assassin that erased his mother and brother from his life.
At the age of twenty-three, Valek had formed a band of pirates, known as the Black Cerberus. They had been on many missions, till one particular raid on a First Order cruiser sent him to a medical center and his comrades to their deaths. Once he got back on his feet, he began to run solo, raiding as many simple ships as he can.
