Private Encouragement

[Betty Americus]

There were always going to be folk who just plain didn't like the Americus, and Betty figured maybe it was because of their freedom. Maybe it was because they were so free that no one could stop them. Hell, it was always said the only person who could stop an Americus was an Americus. Now that the whole damn alors had gone wild, Betty figured it was time to get together with the rest of the Americus and see where they were all at. Blaine Americus and Bryce Americus were summoned as were Andi Americus and Jimmy Americus but Andi was likely too busy tryin' to find a way to get in the pictures like she always was.

Maybe people didn't like the Americus because they didn't take themselves so seriously. After all half the time the Americus family was just havin' fun, but they supposed they could take a tip or two from their Britannicus cousins, or maybe those folk up in the Canadius group they did make some of the best syrup around. Well whatever the reason, the Americus family was encouraged together and take a census on their folk for... Manda knew why but someone wanted the numbrs and Betty had to be sure to give them the right ones.

 

[Jimmy Americus]

Well there was some sort of census or something? All Jimmy really knew is that his drinkin' and relaxin' at the cantina had been interrupted by a message from ma. "Well hot damn, why we gotta have a get together to tell 'er we are still livin'? Send a damned message and get the same results." Why he was so upset by the development when he wasn't doing anything of note was open for interpretation. Jimmy slammed down the rest of the swill in his sglass and paid the tab, sauntering out to his rat rod, sighing heavily as he settled in behind the wheel and fired up the speeder, sitting for a few moments to listen to it switch from a loud roar to a low thrum as the engine began to idle. Admittedly that did help ease his frustrations a bit.

He slammed the pedal all the way to the floor, smirking at the sound of the wheels as they struggled to find grip before hooking and launching offf, leaving behind an impressive cloud of smoke, a few coughing, baffled, bystanders and a long stirp of melted rubber on the pavement. Now that he at least felt a bit better he hit the switch and brought the wheels up from the roadway. The immediate increase in speed was noticeable and besides he was sure that Betty Americus would appreciate him not being the last one to show up for once. As for if Andi Americus would come, who knew? That girl was always tryin' to get on the screen someways. Probably some audition or another today. Blaine Americus and Bryce Americus were also called on, but Jimmy didn't really keep up with them super well he had to admit. Though he wouldn't if ya were to ask him to his face. They were still family after all.

 

[Blaine Americus]

Blain rolled up in his dune buggy just a whoopin' nad a hollerin' as he went. He wasn't the prettiest, but, no he was the prettiest, and he wouldn't let a damn person forget it. He slid in sidewards and tossed the buggie into park as he stood from the driver seat and spit a line into the dirt.

"Whooooooo!" He yelled as he looked at ol' Jimmy Americus and gave a big movie star grin, and then tipped his hat down at Miss Betty Americus . "Jimmy. Miss Betty. What the the hell we gettin' all called together for? Parden my Corellian. If y'all wanted to barbeque ya coulda just asked. You know I like to eat."

He slapped his hat against his armor and sat himself down on yonder stump as the other two admired his great size, beauty, and ever lovin' charm.

"It ain't been that long since we was together though."
