ADVANCED SYSTEMS

Eight Bedrooms: Very large bedrooms, complete with their own walk-in closet that has enough room for a lot of capes, costumes and many accessories. They also come with their own rather large and spacious bathing areas complete with heating tubs, hydro showers with detachable heads, and toilets of almost any configuration and a very large standing mirror to admire yourself in, if you need more, then people must share!
Entertainment Lounge: Multiple Holoscreens, dancer poles and game tables litter the area.
Escape Pods: Four in total that can seat eight people in each corner of the ship.
Full Chefs Compliment Kitchen: Gourmet Kitchen, all the best appliances used to keep an up to date for new culinary tastes and others tastes.
Lavish Interior: It is decorated by the current styles of the galaxy with each bedroom having a unique style accommodating to the luxury planet associated with.
Manuvering Jets: Instead of the usual four, there is about thirty-two installed to make it much more agile than first anticipated.
Nightshadow Compartments: Several hidden sections of each room has a compartment to smuggle in items of illicit nature, Nightshadow was applied directly to each one to baffle sensors and prevent them from being scanned.
SLAM (SubLight Acceleration Motor: Makes the Painted Lady much faster and with the reactor that was pushed in to handle all the power, it can keep it on for over an hour in an emergency, making it very unusually quick!
Two Full Bars: Each side of the ship has a full compliment bar, ready to be used at any time.
Very Large Holding Area: One of the compartments of the ship was converted to hold several animals and other exotics for transport. This included shock features and gas in case of a potential outbreak. Can also be used to hold prisoners.
Warhead Countermeasures: Used to prevent enemy projectiles such as missiles from hitting the Painted Lady with chaff to disrupt homing sensors.
Wine Refrigeration Unit: One of the compartments were converted into a complete cooler for wines and other spirits to keep fresh and cold until needing to be out for their taste.

Strengths:
  • How did it Move like that?!: The Painted Lady is one of the few ships of her class to move with an agility almost unmatched by other luxury craft. This can be confounding to other pilots as it could outmaneuver ships of its size and escape from them, even some starfighters.
  • Fortress of The Painted Lady: Not including the Warhead Countermeasures, the amount of shields on the Painted Lady is compared to almost a light cruiser, requiring a lot of firepower to bring one of the directional shields down. In addition, the LV-F Deflector Shield can go into Fortress Mode, almost immovable but can increase shield strength by two to four times the usual strength to keep enemies from penetrating the shields.
Weaknesses:
  • Long Shield Recharge: When one of the 49-v99 Deflectors goes offline, it goes almost completely dormant, allowing the LV-F Deflector Shield to take its place. It requires almost four minutes to recharge that deflector shield to half strength to be used again and turn off the LV-F Deflector Shield so it can recharge.
  • Useless against Capital Ships: Corvettes and higher can easily overpower the Painted Lady in a prolonged fight as it is only equipped to deal with starfighters.
  • That is Expensive: The Painted Lady is not a cheap ship, it requires a good upkeep with the times if one wishes to keep with current fashion as well as new equipment.
  • Engine Overheat: SLAM is to be used in emergencies when going to full speed, however if used for longer in a combination of an hours time in four hours, can overheat the engine and shut down the entire engine for cooling for ten minutes, making the Painted Lady dormant in space.

Description:

Gypsii was looking for a shipwright designer to build him a luxury ship that was fast and maneuverable, heavy defenses and an eye for luxury. Haon Hafey smiled at the challenge, he knew that it can be done for cheap. Taking a very old scrap ship, he started a complete conversion to today's standards as well as taking some of the best luxury in life. To start, everything was gutted out and by the definition, everything. Then it was replaced with many meters of cable to each room and complete reconstruction of various compartments. Even the cockpit was redesigned with comfort in mind, four seats that had the pilot, co-pilot, and two turret operators on the left and right. Eight of the compartments were build as large bedrooms with each having its own design from luxury planets from abroad. Some of the compartments were cut up, one being used as a Full Chefs Compliment Kitchen as well as a Wine Refrigeration Unit.

Some of the cargo space in the back was sacrificed for an overhauled engine and a very large SLAM unit being installed to boost the engine power to near maximum levels. Maneuvering Jets were also placed in various sections of the ship, allowing it to be more maneuverable than most ships of its size on the market. While the Lavish Interior was being applied, the four Escape Pods were added in on each corner of the ship, able to hold up to eight people a piece total. One of the leftover compartments were transformed into a large holding cell area, being able to change configuration on a whim as well as safety countermeasures added in.

With the Two Full Bars being added in, one on each side of the ship, an entertainment lounge was added into the center of the Painted Lady, allowing people to sit and enjoy the finer things in life, holo-movies and gambling included! As Nightshadow Compartments were added to several sections of the Painted Lady. Warhead Countermeasures were also included on each corner of the Painted Lady to disrupt enemy projectiles of homing nature.

Near the end, something very interesting occurred...they still had a lot of unused output power. The designers had no idea what to do and went home for the day save for a new technician that decided to go all out. Taking several shield generators, he installed them covertly out of view in the ship, acting as if they were part of the interior such as statues or unique water displays in bedrooms for the smaller ones. The larger one was more of a problem as it was just plain ugly and with a decision, actually made it part of the entertainment lounge, pushed deep into the hull, not exposing it and having the top designed to look like a rather large Sabacc table, making it part of the decor.

Morning came and the designers returned to see the generators output at eight percent leftover, demanding what happened until the new tech explained what he did. Overall, it was a good choice to do overnight but was risky as this was a luxury ship. Indeed, the Painted Lady was one of a kind and demands that sort of attention and hopefully their client, Gypsii, would approve of it.

I think as a unique ship this has been put together rather well with good balance of strengths and weaknesses.

[member="Haon Hafey"], this looks like a nice piece of worldcrafting too. It does look like it's one rating over though. Is there a certain weakness that you were trying to use to balance this out?

Alternatively, another option would be to lower a rating.

Useless against Capital Ships, it's a Corvette size ship that cannot fight back against them. Consider that when it only has enough firepower to seat one or two starfighters...a few squadrons of bombers can take this out easy, even with all the shields it has.

Also my phone is stupid, got my writer instead of character...again.
