  • "Standard" Model - 26cm
  • "Military" Model - 28cm
  • "Special"/"Marksman" Model - 32cm

Ammunition Type: any X-CL series ammunition
Ammunition Capacity: Six X-CL casings
Effective Range: ~50m
Maximum Range: ~220m
Rate of Fire: Semi automatic
Special Features:
  • Robust
  • Durable
  • Accurate
  • Hard hitting

Strengths:
  • Change It Up - The first handheld weapon to utilize the new X-CL ammunition series, the Emissary Revolver inherits the latent versatility of the X-CL series, allowing the discerning gunslinger to tailor to their needs or simply carry the ammunition they prefer to do the damage types to the target they desire.
  • Ain't That a Kick in the Head - Due to the raw power wielded by the X-CL ammunition, the Emissary brings some serious firepower to the fight. Capable of knocking most humanoids of average size to the ground with a center mass shot, those using this Tenloss weapon know that targets shot will generally go down on the first try.
  • Dead Center - Highly accurate, the Emissary Revolver is well machined and batch tested to ensure quality control. The weapon is often valued for its accuracy and, frequently, the longer barreled "Special" models are used in sport shooting by professional marksmen.
  • Tough as Nails - Manufactured from durable materials and batch tested to ensure weapon quality, the Emissary is just as durable and rugged as its predecessor, the Ambassador.

Weaknesses:
  • Shot Dry - Low ammunition capacity limits the Emissary in engagements, forcing the user to make each shot count or bring extra ammunition to compensate for any inaccuracy.
  • Watch that Ricochet - As a blaster weapon, it suffers a weakness that its predecessor, the Ambassador Revolver, never faced: magnetics. Where the slugs of the Ambassador would pass through ray shields sans ionization and give those using lightsabers pause, the Emissary is a blaster weapon in the end and faces all of the drawbacks inherent in Blaster design and function.

Description:

With the creation of the X-CL ammunition series and a new spin on old tech, Tenloss decided it was time to design and manufacture something that would catch the eyes of the market. Faced with the choice of an entirely new design or recreating something produced in the past, Tenloss R&D began work in earnest. The decision was made to redesign a tried and tested weapon that had remained popular at varying levels among the galaxy, even being issued to the Galactic Republic as standard issue at one point. With the decision made, the Ambassador Revolver was pulled off the shelf and dusted off.

The resulting product was the Emissary Revolver. The successor to the legacy laid down by the Ambassador, the Emissary is a true gunslinger's weapon. The pistol is composed of alusteel and durasteel to keep the frame at a manageable weight, but allows the weapon to maintain durability and ruggedness in the field. The weapon is highly accurate, machined to a quality finish and batch tested to ensure each weapon meets Tenloss weapon standards. In fact, with the three variants featuring different barrel lengths and minor accuracy boosts as the barrel length increases, the longest barrel variants known as the Emissary "Special" are often used in competitive shooting where consistent accuracy matters in each shot. Lastly, the sidearm uses the X-CL ammunition series, meaning that gunslingers can select a variety of ammunition types to achieve different kinds of damage potential with their weapon, even mixing rounds in the cylinder to create a chain of different damage types in a fight. Coupled with the raw power of the X-CL ammunition itself, the Emissary has the knockdown power to put most human sized creatures on their tail in the dirt with the first center mass shot, provided the shot connects.

The weapon does have it's downsides, however. As a blaster weapon, the pistol sees lessened efficiency against ray and deflector shielding per normal for such weapons. In addition, lightsabers are capable of deflecting the bolts fired, depending on what type of X-CL ammunition is loaded. Lastly, the weapon only carries six individual casings, meaning that each shot has to count or that the user may want to invest in extra ammunition and, perhaps, speed loaders.
