STRENGTHS :
+ Force Sight(Racial): As with most Miraluka, Aitis has no physical eyes in his face, possessing only vestigal sockets. At this point in his life, he has lost the ability to use his Sight, but it is still present.
+ Healer: Though the talent lays forgotten, he has a natural hand and empathy with people that shows a promise as a Healer, if he can overcome his other blocks.
+Sight Beyond Sight: Before his mind was wiped, he had amazing potential as a seer, and it is unknown if the events transpiring to his loss of self and recollection have altered that.
NEUTRAL:
+/- Keen Ears: With no natural sight, his other senses of perception are noticeably heightened. In particular, his sense of hearing has been elevated, to the point he is vulnerable to high pitched noises such as explosions, sonic weaponry and the like.
+/- Ripples in the Tide: Through unknown events, his memory and abilities were taken from him, even his ability to see through the Force. Though these abilities may or may not be able to be regained in time, whatever happened has left his presence in the Force greatly altered. Particularly to those with Farsight, he seems to throw off waves on unease and discomfort, and an inherent wrongness in the Force, as if displaced or such. Some may note the wrongness feels almost like a Force Wound in some ways. This twist of fate also seems to make him rather 'loud' and easy to detect in the Force. It is not known if any abilities are granted by it at this time.
WEAKNESSES:
- Weak Body: Not as physically strong as most others, he is not per se frail, but he is much less physically capable or enduring as most, let alone trained duelists and fighters. While he is incredibly fast, this speed and agility can not be maintained long without faltering.
-Claustrophobia: Due in part to his enhance hearing, he is extremely paranoid of enclosed spaces. The noise, in addition to the constriction of movement and other factors will result in blind panic and hyperventilation in a relatively short manner of time, and this fact is something he has kept rather well hidden from most.
-Terrible With Technology: He can use a datapad, and with training he has began to adapt to using medical devices. But piloting a starship or using some intricate set of armor or weapon will never be in his skill-set. And he will never, ever be one to slice and hack things or practice technomancy.
APPEARANCE:
He is a slightly taller than average man with a rather average build. In fact, were it not for the almost constantly raised hood concealing his face, he would be so average as to be lost in a crowd without much thought. He is neither muscly nor skinny, and neither extremely tall or short. When he moves it is with quick, but precise and controlled movements, as if very careful and observant of the world around him.
His attire is that of a typical Jedi of the Republic at its' base, but the tunic is trimmed in geometric forms and figures. He eschews the use of a cloak or cape in favor of a hooded tunic, for like most of his people he was born without actual physical eyes, and only vestigial eye sockets. The once fine clothing is dirty, torn, scorched and threadbare, barely more than paupers rags... His lightsaber is concealed as the topping to a long walking cane, and is rarely used for anything more than as a 'prop' and affectation of a 'blind man', though in his current state he does not even know the trick to remove the device from the cane, or that it is even there...
BIOGRAPHY:
He is a literal unknown, with no history, past, or recollection of anything a few months prior to current times. Something traumatic recently happened, of that he is certain, and he guesses it is largely responsible for his lack of sight and Force connection.
Note: The following is unknown except to a very precious few. If you have to ask if you would know, you wouldn't.
Aitis was a lonely child of an over-worked mother and a stim-addict father who fell in with smugglers and gamblers and one day just... Never came back from a 'job'. Due to her constantly being away at work, while Aitis and his sister rarely wanted for much, he didnt have much of a parental influence and thus grew up rather unruly, headstrong, and with a protective cling to his sister.
Eventually, sadly, his sister was kidnapped when his mom received an offer to journey to a space station not too far from their home and take up a new job, and only one at that, that would pay even more than the myriad odd jobs she managed to track down. Upon arrival, Aitis set out rather stubbornly to explore his new surroundings in the booming space station, not knowing his mothers new employer was Hutt who was looking for dancing girls, and took both his sister first, and his mother as his cartel was visiting, preying on the promise of riches and a better life.
Since that tragedy, he will not really speak of the events that follows, but instead chose to wander the station, doing odd jobs(and not really caring if sometimes the employer or task is less than moral), saving up for who knows what, and dreaming of some day being able to prevent such things from happening again. One day, that dream would come true in meeting [member="Corvus Raaf"], his first Master.
While his time with her was short, Aitis does not fault her personally. His departure from the Jedi Order was fueled more by a growing sense of unease and what he believed were visions and meditative trances showing him that it was the will of the Force to do such. Whether or not he was right, time will tell the true tale of it, as it usually does.
After his separation from the Republic. Aitis spent some time with [member="Coryth Elaris"] learning the basics of Healing, both with the Force and without it. This included time in trauma wards in local hospitals, serving as a physicians assistant in clinics, and even briefly as a First Responder for a Militia on the Outer Rim. These occupations, in between lessons. gave him both a chance to practice his Force Healing, and a chance to hone his skills as a physician in general.
As he wandered, practicing and spending some time with the Luka Sene on Alpheridies, honing his abilities with Force Sight and the recently discovered precognitive abilities. The time with the Luka Sene has been brief, and informal, with him contributing and learning what he can in between his journeys. Several of these journeys have been with the esteemed [member="Karen Roberts"], learning the very basics of what it means to be an independent contractor, of sorts.
