(+)The Brawler: Eliza is no Jedi, but she has a lot of natural strength. While she’s decent with a blaster, and can shoot guns on certain ships, she is naturally best at fighting with her fists. If it comes down to hand to hand combat, she’s a pro, and will beat you down with no hesitation. This makes her talented in close combat, but the farther away the enemy, the more advantage they have.
(+)Fast Thinking: Eliza is witty, and good under pressure, whether it comes to attacks, lying, or finding an escape route, she seems to always be able to think her way out of bad situations, no matter how the odds are against her. She refuses to admit defeat, and will never stop trying to find a solution to the problems at hand.
(+)Handy: Eliza is an engineer, and before that, she worked nearly her entire life as a mechanic. Because of this, Eliza is a complete pro with nearly any forms of machinery, and can easily fix, build, or improve ships, droids, and anything in between.
(+/-)Stubborn/Prideful: When Eliza believes she’s right about something, she will firmly stand by it and she won’t back down. Her pride prevents her from admitting it when she’s wrong about something, and though she might grudgingly agree with your statement, she will never admit to being wrong. While her stubborn nature allows her to fiercely stand for what she believes in, when she truly is wrong, she’s the last to figure it out. This makes her hard to work and get along with at times, as she will argue her point until she’s backed into a corner with nowhere to go.
(+/-)Good Hearted: While Eliza likes to show off a toughened exterior, she truly is kind hearted. If someone needs her help, she won’t think twice about assisting, whether she knows them or not. She’d go out of her way to help someone, and would make sacrifices in a heartbeat to do so if necessary. Of course, due to this, her good hearted nature can often lead to her into bad situations, and can end up being a weakness.
(-)Reckless: Eliza often rushes into situations with no thought. Her luck has been on her side for so long, she often thinks herself invincible, rushing in blindly to bad situations. Because of this, she often jumps into things with no thought as to what the consequences might be, and puts herself and others in danger.
(-)Lack of Patience: Eliza has a great deal of trouble focusing, or paying attention, and can quickly grow bored or annoyed of waiting quietly for things to happen. APPEARANCE:
Eliza has tanned skin, and dark brown eyes, along with dark brown hair that she pulls into a messy pony tail. Along with that, she's got two cartilage piercings on her left ear. Her face is very rounded, and her form is bulkier and more muscled than most, but not overly so. Along with this, she stands at about 5’10, and weighs around 149 lbs.
Her attire usually consists of her uniform, or a tank top, scarf, and pants with boots, but no matter what, she's always wearing her dads jacket any chance she gets, only removing it in situations she absolutely must. Lastly, she wields two Heavy Blaster Pistols that she keeps holstered at all times.
BIOGRAPHY:
Eliza Stryder was left on the planet of Tatooine as a baby, her origins unknown to both her family, and herself. She was found and raised by Aria and Maxwell Strider, a married couple who owned a parts shop on the outskirts of the planet. The couple, though hesitant to take her in at first, came to love her as a daughter, and adopted her as their own. Eliza was incredibly gifted with her hands; building engines, machinery, and even a droid at a young age. Despite all her talent though, she often was ridiculed for being stupid, as she had an extremely hard time reading and focusing in learning environments (Eliza has ADHD). Because of this, the minute she finished basic schooling, she began working as a mechanic instead of trying to further her education, while also studying and improving her skills with machinery.
She worked with her father and mother in the shop for many years, working there while also working as an engineer. She often thought about leaving Tatooine in search of something new, but her parents kept her there until she turned 19, and she decided to leave in search of something more. Due to her extensive skill with machinery, she was taken on as an apprentice by an experienced starship engineer, and with that, she left, hoping to become a talented and successful engineer just like her mentor. Both her parents understood her ambition, and her father gifted her with his old jacket to remind her of them when she's exploring the galaxy. After a heartfelt goodbye, she set off on her journey, training to become an engineer. Her mentor taught her everything he knew, and before she knew it, she was doing freelance work on her own, traveling all over the galaxy on tons of different starships as an engineer. Along with this, she trained herself in combat and proved herself to be an efficient fighter, especially with hand to hand combat, and though she isn't very skilled, even has basic knowledge with flight. She spent years learning, working, and improving herself, but eventually, after many years spent away from home, she decided to return to visit her family. Upon arriving, however, she walked up to her families shop to find that it was boarded up and charred. Upon asking the people next door why they're shop was left this way, she discovers that her parents were killed after standing up to the Sith when they had tried to forcefully take all of their merchandise. After her father resisted, both he and her mother were shot, and after scavenging what they could, they burned the shop to the ground. The boarded up, burned shell of the shop was all that remained.
After her parents death, she felt disgusted at the thought of the Sith's, and any other organization connected to the dark side's existence. She always knew that they were bad people, but she never had any reason, or will for that matter, to fight them. For the first time in her life, she felt what she never had before. Will. A will to rid the galaxy of the dark side for good, and free the universe of its taint. A will to ensure that no child ever had to return home to find they're parents gone with no trace of their remains. She wanted to make a difference, so instead of taking up more freelance jobs, she decided to join in the fight against the dark side in hopes that her skills as a starship engineer, and a fighter, could help make a difference.
