sex;; Femaleage;; Twenty
height;; 5'5'' / 165 cm
weight;; 114 lbs / 52 kg
complexion;; Pale- (asian).
eyes;; Her eyes are a deep and exotic chocolate brown; with flecks of amber around her iris.
hair;; As black as night itself, falling just below her waist. More often than not tied back, or at the very least, behind her shoulders.
appearance description;; Standing at barely 5'5'', she's easily lost in a crowd. She has the tendency to blend in to the background anywhere she goes- with her uninspiring features and less-than revealing choices in attire. Very few people would give her a second look. More often than not, she can be found sporting thin pale, heavily cracked leather jacket above a low-cut white tank-top. Generally she wears tight-fitting brown pants, and military grade boots (picked off an old rebel corpse back on Onderan.)
On the average day, she's unkempt. Her hair windblown and ratted, littered by split ends. A pixie-like face coated by blood, dirt, and sweat. Laux is almost never seen with makeup, let alone styled hair, or painted nails. But, she's proud to be so. Believing it to be a sign of hard work and dedication to her job. Heavily calloused hands, bruised knuckles, and her scarred arms are the true mark of a mercenary.

(+) rational↳ If anything can get you through a life in the underworld, it's sound logic and reasoning. Picking some up along the way - although mostly learned from mistakes- Laux is incredibly cool, calm, and collected. Her rationality lends its hand in negotiations; and makes it easy for her to sort through the 'bad crowd'.
(+) loyal
↳ Grown in times of intense hardship, those close-knit nature of her crew-mates and captain always served her well. They may have been her captors, but they took her in, fed and clothed her, and taught her the skills needed to survive in this bleak reality. The bonds she forges today are everlasting. Regardless of who you are, if you earn her trust, you have an ally for life.
(+/-) independent
↳ Laux has More than had her fill with the crampt life of a crewman. Tired of sharing everything- from her food to her credits -she lives a much more solitary life. Often taking on solo jobs on isolated planets.

Then again, that's when she having the most fun.

the prologue;;Erich Laux was a new up and comer in the shipping game; although he'd quickly made a name for himself. Initially, everything had been above board. He and his small crew transported weapons and munitions across the galaxy. They remained a neutral party, offering their services to whoever required a transport. Often even taking passengers; alongside their normal goods. All and all, it was an okay gig, with just enough credits left for him to live comfortably. Unfortunately, though, the profit margins were incredibly slim - transport vessels were common. Before long, that comfortable lifestyle faded away, and everything was scrimping, saving. Layoffs for his crew. Desperately, he searched for a means to earn credits. And, without any options, Erich Laux accepted a bounty.
It paid incredibly well; more than enough to support his business, and himself, in the hard months to come. Simple enough, find and return a young Takako Raschke; runaway housewife. Too good to be true, a girl with little to no combat experience, credits, or aide? It was a few weeks before they caught wind of her, but soon enough, their search lead them to Onderan. No longer than 16 hours on the surface and they'd found her. All that was left to do was to 'secure the cargo.'
Erich approached her in a bar, late one night. He was a friendly face, offering companionship and safety. Takako let her guard down, and a few drinks later, found herself in his arms. Willingly following him wherever he would lead her. He got her aboard his ship, brought her to his room, and what happened there was history.
chapter one;;
Eladia was raised almost completely by her father. She never remembered having her mother around, and since Erich refused to speak of her, it didn't leave her much to work with. Regardless, she was happy. She'd trail her father around their ship, often closely observing as he made repairs. Wide eyed and innocent, she was a welcome addition to the crew. Most of the men on board enjoyed her company- and each taught her something new. Gavin and Marril taught her how to properly clean and hold a blaster, while her father taught her the basics of flight control - although never allowing her to fly the ship herself. Eladia did most of the cleaning on board, from clothing, to scrubbing the floor, but rarely complained.
While she never received a real education, she was taught to read and write by their medic, Tobias. Of all the crew, and even her father, Toby and Eladia were the closest. While everyone else would be hard at work, often outside the ship, Toby would sit with her for hours. He'd talk about his adventures in the universe, his own family, and how he'd met her father. Their daring captain. It was Toby who first sensed her connection to the force. They had just begun to explore it when their ship was boarded, and captured, by a band of Mercs.
The whole crew, with the exception of Eladia herself, was slaughtered. Barely thirteen at the time, this early heartbreak broke her. From then on, her education ended, and enslavement began. Her duties were mostly the same, clean the ship, feed the crew. It was Eladia that was tasked with scrubbing the blood from her fathers ship. When they reached Ilum, the ship was sold, and Eladia was traded off as a servant in return for new blasters for the crew.
Most of her childhood carried on like that. Sold and traded, given as a gift. She was certain it would stay that way for the rest of her life - or at least until she was too old to be valuable anymore. That was of course until she met Maxir Bibble. Her last owner. He was an older gentleman, far kinder than her previous owners. She was given her own room, a bed, and was allowed to leave his side if she wished. She grew comfortable - even close - with the former Jedi. Eventually, her ownership was forgotten. He felt more like a friend than anyone had in a very long time.
After three years in his service, Maxir decided to settle down. Find a cozy spot on Kesh, and live out the rest of his days in solitude. But, before he disappeared, he relieved Eladia of her duties. They parted ways as friends, and to this day, she visits him. It was due to Maxir's kindness that today, Eladia is free.
Eager to wash away the shame of her past, she calls herself Laux - in memory of her father, and his failed buisness. Now, she works whatever jobs she can find - legal or otherwise. She does what she can to get by, but remains desperate for something more. Always searching for her own great adventure.
