Blake's past is shrouded in mystery and largely classified. Some say he was an orphan who enlisted to escape a cycle of poverty and crime. Some say he was the worst kind of criminal, recruited by the Republic to do the worst kind of work. Some say he was a rancor that morphed into a man and then proceeded to grab a cigar and a blaster. Not even his handlers are sure of his true origins, which are just a street kid from Coruscant who wanted to fight. Whatever his story is, the Comedian is still regarded as one of the best soldiers living. He's seen it all: killing in the battlefield, stabbing backs and slitting throats, razing entire worlds; you name it, he's done it. Blake is a valuable recourse for the Republic and whoever offers the most credits to him.
