  • GENERAL INFORMATION

Durak’Tur stands nearly three meters tall, his fur a weathered mix of ash and snow-white streaks that mark both his age and countless journeys through harsh climates. His eyes are a deep amber, steady, reflective, and tinged with quiet sadness. The long tusks characteristic of his species are worn and chipped, polished smooth from years of travel and ritual sharpening. Despite his imposing stature, he moves with remarkable restraint, each motion deliberate and softened by a healer’s patience. His robes are a blend of traditional Jedi attire and survival gear, layered with furs and weathered fabrics meant to withstand everything from Rishi’s jungle humidity to the frigid wastelands of Hoth. Around his neck hangs a simple talisman from Toola, bone and leather, carved long ago by his kin and carried as his last physical tie to home.

In a manner, Durak’Tur embodies the serenity of the unspoken. He rarely raises his voice, preferring silence as his first form of wisdom. Those who meet him sense a gravity about him, not the severity of command, but the weight of understanding. He listens deeply, often allowing others to find their own truth through the stillness he creates. Yet beneath that calm lies the discipline of a survivor and the tempered instincts of a warrior-monk who has lived through eras of loss. To the downtrodden, he is a guardian. To the broken, he is a healer. And to the violent, he is a quiet mirror, one that reflects the futility of their anger.

Durak’Tur’s lightsaber, once green, now hums with a faint, uneven pulse, a sign of its age and the minimal maintenance he gives it. Its hilt is wrapped in worn leather, designed for his immense hands, and bears small inscriptions in Aurebesh denoting the Jedi Code. He favors the Soresu form of combat, a purely defensive style centered on endurance and protection. Yet he rarely draws his weapon, seeing it as a symbol of defense, not dominance. In his mind, the Force is not a storm to be wielded, but a current to be respected. Where others might see him as a relic of a forgotten Order, those who have met him know him as something far rarer, a living embodiment of what it truly means to be Jedi.

  • HISTORY
Durak’Tur was born amid the endless blizzards of Toola, where strength and endurance were not virtues, but necessities. From his earliest seasons, he learned to read the world through the senses of a survivor, the weight of snow under paw, the shift of the wind that warned of predators, the fragile heat of a dying fire. When a Jedi expedition ship crash-landed on his tundra, the young Whiphid aided the survivors and revealed a gift that transcended instinct: a deep, unspoken connection to life itself. Taken to Coruscant, he became an unlikely Padawan, towering, quiet, and slow to speak, but with a heart that pulsed in harmony with the living Force.

Under the guidance of his Master, Durak’Tur grew into a Jedi of great wisdom and gentleness. He never sought glory nor command. Where others led battalions, Durak’Tur walked the fields after battle, gathering the wounded from mud and snow alike. His massive frame would kneel beside soldiers, and his voice, low and calm as a mountain storm, would steady their pain. “Life is the Force remembering itself,” he would say, “and we are its memory, for as long as we care.”

After years of war, his disillusionment was clear; he became a wanderer, crossing from world to world in quiet service. On Rishi, he helped the fevered children of a pirate outpost; on Eriadu, he rebuilt a settlement’s water system with nothing but scrap and the Force; on Jakku, he buried the fallen after a raid, whispering the Jedi Code as a prayer for all souls. Those who met him rarely learned his name. To them, he was simply the Whiphid healer, or the tall one who listens.

Durak’Tur no longer carries the banner of the Jedi, yet the Order lives through him in the smallest of ways, in every wound closed, every frightened heart soothed, every act of compassion offered to a broken galaxy. His saber, ancient and etched with frost-scars from Toola, hangs from his belt as a reminder, not a weapon. He fights only when no other way remains, and even then, his strikes are precise, defensive, and deliberate.

  • APPEARANCE

Durak’Tur is a towering figure, standing close to three meters tall, his presence both formidable and strangely comforting. His fur was a weathered mix of ash and snow-white streaks, like frost gathering along a mountainside. Long braids hang from his mane, each bound with strips of cloth from the robes of those he has healed, a quiet tribute to lives touched and saved. His tusks curve downward in graceful arcs, their tips dulled and weathered from years of wear, while faint scars trace across his shoulders and chest, relics of battles fought long ago. When he walks, his movements are measured and heavy, yet there is a quiet reverence to his step, as if he carries the weight of the galaxy with deliberate care rather than burden.

His attire is a reflection of his wandering life: a blend of patched Jedi robes and survival leathers layered beneath a heavy, fur-lined cloak that shields him from both cold and scrutiny. The garments are earth-toned, dusted with travel stains and frayed at the edges, yet meticulously kept clean, a mark of discipline, not vanity. Around his neck hangs a carved bone pendant from Toola, an heirloom of his tribe, smoothed by decades of touch. His amber eyes, deep and steady, seem to see through more than flesh; they hold the patience of one who has watched centuries of suffering and still believes in mercy. Even without his lightsaber, Durak’Tur commands quiet respect, the kind born not from fear or legend, but from the enduring strength of compassion.
