History: Dunep was first colonized in the year 826 ABY When the republic was colonizing deep core worlds. They happened to come across the planet amidst a world war between the two nations of Astu over religious land. The conflict was stopped when the republic bombed the armies revealing large cave systems filled with force crystals. After the two nations stopped fighting and agreed to join the republic, the senate started extracting the crystals. Dunep started importing metal to build with and exporting those force crystals. The planet developed an organization known as the Dunep alliance shortly after their signing with the republic.
