SPECIAL FEATURES
DESCRIPTION
The LM-103 was designed as a standard Trooper Armor for individual militas around the galaxy. The armor was created to mostly be suited against standard weaponry of the galaxy. This means the armor is highly resistant to most blaster weapons, capable of taking one or two solid blasts before failing. This also means the armor is molded specifically to certain beings, allowing for better protection and movement. The LM-103 is the perfect armor for any milita member that needs just a little bit of extra protection, hailing back to the Stormtrooper armors of old.

The DSA Infantry Armor MK-II is a full redesign based upon the DSA Infantry Armor MK-I. While the MK-1 was suitable originally, and very economical. It no longer meets the standards Denon Stahl Arms is going for. The MK-2 is a direct upgrade to the original. Boasting heavier armor and a better protection scheme for the wearer. A superior electronics package. And more modularity for customized loadouts.

The most notable change is the helmet. Taking a more angular form with many sloping surfaces to better deflect incoming attacks. The air hoses of the original are gone, air filtration and supply has been miniaturized in to a small replaceable canister on the right jawline. The entire electronics suite is also packed in to the helmet. Overall it actually weighs less than the MK-1. Weight savings thanks to sloped armor needing less material to provide the same level or protection. The optics can also raise up into the forehead plate to allow the wearer to use binoculars. Added bonus for interacting with civilian populations.

The flakjacket acts as a harness for most of the whole upper body armor. While giving good protection, it carries the durasteel plates and supports the upper arm armor in place. There are anchor points on the back for carrying a rucksack, or a jetpack if one can modify it to attach. An armorweave jackets worn underneath it all. A standard issue belt also comes with the armor, equipped with a few carrying pouches for whatever you want.

Arm armor is in three sections. Upper, also supported partially by the flakjacket. Elbow and forearm. Straps hold them in place. Under them is additional plastoid armor. The armorweave

The leg armor is simple. Just a rugged pair of pants and some large durasteel plates held on by straps.

Hand armor is also a weapon. Inspired from Mandalorian Crushgaunts these servo empowered, armorweave lined gloves can give your that sure grip on your weapon. Or in literal hand to hand combat give you the easy edge to crush your opponents hands. Also pretty good for punching stuff while not hurting you thanks to some built in padding. Just don't go overboard thinking you can crush or grab anything and break it.

Boots are fully armored but comfortable to wear once broken in. Articulated to allow for more natural movement whether walking or on the run. Like ski boots they have three clip straps to be held in place. They're also waterproof.

Strengths:
  • Blaster Resistant: Great resistance where covered
  • Slugthrower Resistant: Great resistance where covered
Weaknesses:
  • Vulnerable to EMP / ION interference
  • Lightsabers can go through you slightly slower than they would through a stick of butter.
  • Not safe to venture into the void of space
