Description

Koensayr Manufacturing has come to the realization that starfighters are just as deadly a ship as any capital ship out there and most capital ships these days are focused on destroying the massive ships of their enemies and are unable to protect themselves from enemy attack craft. The Drugon-class was created for just this purpose. This ship is armed with enough anti-starfighter weaponry to make enemy attack craft think twice about assaulting your capital ships. This ship is equipped with technology to make it move fast enough to escort most ships in any fleet. Much of the innards of the ship are dedicated to powering it's engines and weapons so a hangar was lef tout of the construction plans. The hull of the ship is made from multiple thick layers of Alusteel to serve as a proper defense should the shields be destroyed.

All in all, the Drugon-class Frigate is a powerful adversary to all enemy attack craft.

To start off,

Tractor Beams

Tractor beams are counted as armament in the weapons exchange chart found here. It is in the last spoiler.

A number and adjustment to rating will be necessary.

Once that is done, we'll see if there is anything else to take care of.

With a mass production level, your anti-starfighter frigate is far more powerful than the ship within the cookie cutter. All of your ratings are higher save for maneuverability and speed, where the former stays constant and the latter lowers by one tier.

Armament: Moderate 20 Proton Torpedo Launchers 25 Quad turbolaser cannon batteries

No guns capable of attacking starships

Your quad turbolasers are able to fire on other capital ships. This isn't a valid weakness in line with your armament.

Defenses: Average Reinforced hull Advanced Molecular Shielding

Further reviewing this, I don't see anything particularly average when it comes to Molecular shielding, let alone an advanced shield on a mass produced ship.

A standard deflector shield would equate to average.

Cookie cutter frigate has a Low defense rating and a high speed rating. If you intend to raise your defense rating, speed should take a hit as well as your maneuverability.

In regards to your armament and the roll of this ship, it currently isn't kitted out well. You may want to switch out armaments.

15 Quad turbolaser cannon batteries

Quad Turbolasers are made for Capital ship vs capital ship combat. Quad lasers, point-defense cannons, flak cannons, and the like are more suited for fighters.

The proton torpedoes are fine as is.
