Description
Drey, sometimes colloquially referred too as Drey Incorporated, is Mining and Agricultural company headquartered on the planet Lianna. It was founded at the beginning of the 9th century, approximately sometime in 900 ABY, around the rise of the Dark Empire and beginning of the Core Wars.
Drey first begun it's operations during the reign of the Empire of the Lost: a confederate of Imperial Remnants who banded together to form their own Empire after the conclusion of the Second Great Hyperspace War. Seeing an opportunity in the Empire to create and expand a company who specialised in the manufacture, and distribution of foodstuffs,
Alicia Drey
, the founder of Drey (and who subsequently named the company after herself) capitalised on a series of events that transpired in the same year as the company was founded in order to fill a space in the foodstuffs market.After all, everyone needs to eat.
In 902 ABY Drey entered the Mining markets and became a distributor of the heavy metal Doonium. Other ores that it begun to distribute included Cortosis, Duranium and Titanium. It primarily operated within the Tion Cluster, and along the hyperlanes known as the Perlemian Trade Route, and Corellian Run.

Alicia Drey
founded Chandrila Group: a foodstuff manufacturer and distributor based on Chandrila. In many ways Drey is the successor company to Chandrila Group which was later liquidated by Alicia around 851 ABY. The subsequent liquidation of it's predecessor, combined with other investments and the sale of paraphernalia gave Alicia a vast fortune which was later invested into the creation of her new company on Lianna. After being recruited into the New Imperial Security Bureau- an intelligence gathering organisation which works on behalf of the Empire- Alicia became aware of the impending invasion of Lothal mere days before the attack. Using her own personal fortune Alicia capitalized on the market crash that transpired during the attack, leading to the acquisition of several assets which included land and property to create Drey. Using clever political scheming, intelligence gathering, and a considerable pocketbook made from previous business ventures, Drey was founded as a means to expand Alicia's influence and wealth across not only the Empire of the Lost but with designs to also reach other star systems all over the Galaxy.
Headquartered in Lianna City, Drey owns several farms and properties on the planets Lianna, Lothal, Ruisto, Obredaan and Kegan. The resources that either manufactured, cultivated, excavated or distributed from these star systems are listed on the marketplace.
Drey seeks to fill a void in the Empire of the Lost by becoming it's leading manufacturer and distributor of foodstuffs within the Empire whilst looking to expand into other worlds who fill this particular niche. In 902 ABY, after making it's statement about the Trade Federation of Planets, Drey expanded it's operations to become a dual operator in the Mining and Agricultural markets.
It primarily operates within a region of the Galaxy known as the Tion Cluster, and along two hyperlanes known as Perlemian Trade Route, and Corellian Run.
