Private Dream On

Not knowing the ins-and-outs of the Jedi, Judah had assumed when he came to the asteroid that it was filled with mystical Force that healed in whatever way the Force healed. At least, that was the general idea he got when he had researched the station. To an extent, he was correct. The Nuns had explained the psychological healing through the Force within the asteroid and multiple terms and concepts he didn't quite understand. It was time honored to work, which is why he put his skepticism aside and stayed, figuring it couldn't hurt any more than not doing anything at all.

What he didn't plan on was being visited by one Valery Noble Valery Noble , which now lead to more work he had to do. Apparently the Force wasn't the miracle worker he thought it was. Good old fashioned hard work and self-improvement. Judah thought he would be on that path eventually, but he didn't expect to be tossed in to the deep end so quickly. He had already started to do the meditation the Nuns told him to do. Frankly, not seeing the point, but he continued to do what was required.

Part of doing what was required was meeting with various Jedi Healers. The Nuns had said for improvement, perspective, or assistance, depending on the situation and Healer that was on the asteroid at the time. Or what was required by the patient. Judah could see the need, but he wasn't sure if a Jedi could view life from his perspective. However, if he wanted to keep his friendships and relationships in life, he would have to be open minded.

Knuckles rapped on a door before he entered the pared down room, just some comfortable chairs. Was he in the right spot? The shaggy salvager still hadn't quite gotten down the layout of the asteroid fortress.

Kat had been called in to help in a case. It was something that fitted her skills as a healer, she had done a few sessions of therapy and assisting Jedi with trauma and breakdowns, fighting, being in wars and losing loved ones, it was something that was all too common and a lot of Jedi needed someone they could speak to. To have outlets that weren't familial or friends. Kat was working on providing that since she knew that healing the body was just one part of a holistic approach to medicine. She needed to work on providing support for the mental and apparently this was a case of the physical being healed but the mental still unravelled.

Reaching G'aav'aar'oon was a journey and she was curious about a group of nuns, it seemed a peaceful lifestyle and one that could assist in the healing of others but she also could tell that Kat was not suited to that lifestyle. There was just too much in her mind that she needed to be doing in a day to be living as a nun. And she wasn't sure the celibacy thing was part of the code for these nuns but the risk was not worth learning more about their lives. For now, she focused on the patient and what information she could gather in sorting out a treatment plan. There were many options and approaches to providing support, Kat just needed to plot what were the best options beforehand.

Having created an office space for herself, a cup of caf was cooling on her desk and she was sorting through files on her datapad. The time to set her space hadn't been too bad, the nuns were helpful in making sure she had the appropriate look to provide the necessary help. Upon hearing a knock on the door, Kat placed her datapad away in the desk drawer and grabbed an empty one so that she could make notes during the meeting if anything important came up. "Enter." She called out.

As the salvager entered, he would see Kat gently blowing on her hot caf in attempts to cool it down to drink.

Shaggy head poked itself into the room, checking to see if this was the woman he was supposed to meet. It was odd, especially since he had no idea what she looked liked. However, a woman in robes was sitting behind a desk, trying to cool down an overly hot cup of caf.

Seemed like the right location. Seemed like the right person.

"Miss Decoria?" Words came out more as a question than a greeting, outstretching his hand to shake her free one. "Pleasure to meet you."

Two comfortable looking chairs were across from the desk and he chose the one closest to the door, sitting down.

"So, how are you? How is...whatever Jedi do."

Looking up, "please, call me Master Decoria or Kat." She offered a smile, the formal title that Judah had given felt more like a title suited to her niece than herself. It made her smile as she took a sip of her drink. Gesturing to a chair, "please take a seat."

"I am good thanks. Just been working with the New Jedi Order in establishing healthy, peaceful stability. Never easy work but worthwhile." Kat stated as she observed the man patiently. "How about yourself? I have heard that things have been difficult."

The aura coming from Kat in the Force was comforting, warm and aiming to soothe the emotions within Judah as he opened to her.
