DESCRIPTION

Zekren Kairne's Armor was designed and built by himself with the financial backing and support of the Dread King of the Lords of Chaos, crafted from high density metals and an appropriate under layer of leathers and armor-weave, a Faraday cage and Chain Mail, this Armor set has been built for one purpose, to suit his up close and personal approach to combat.

Starting first with the materials used, the first layer of clothing is naturally made from Armor-Weave and leathers in order to carry the weight of the heavier gear comfortably and reduce any strain on his physical body. As an added layer and full body protection against energy displacement weaponary or Force related powers, the use of technologies has been brought into consideration, in this case answered by the Faraday Cage of which negates any possible immobilization from ion weapons fire, electrical charges and the like.

Phrik Chain-Mail has then been added to the set pieces to cater for the use of energy weapons with rather more finesse, Lightsabers the most likely to be encountered when combating force users; regardless of the plating over head, the Chain Mail has been intricately woven to allow the body to breath yet put up a moderate resistance against energy blades where the Turadium might wane. It's important to note that while there are vulnerable points between the plating, the Chain mail remains covering the back of the knees, the throat and the underarms. It can be penetrated with a succession of hits and is less resistant than the turadium alloy itself yet they do not call it heavy armor for no reason.

Finally, show cased on the outside in the Heavy Armor's rather exotic style, the Turadium Plating covers the majority of the body. As previously mentioned it does not cater for the vulnerable points where one might expect most armors to hold, the throat for example though protected some by the chain-mail and armor weave is the best point for a killing blow. It is important to note however that this alloy too is moderately lightsaber resistant and combined with the chainmail underlay creates a rather hefty defensive shell against the lights of weapons one might expect to find in the hands of a Force User.

In regards to any special features or hidden mechanics built into this armor set, the helm holds the most significant of the two technological traits. That being the Heads Up Display System or HUD for short. Built into the helm is an internal comm-link device as well as both Thermal Vision and Environmental Scanners capable of mapping out the territory around Zekren. While thermal vision can detect heat signatures through smoke or darkness and other vision impairing status', the helm does not detect movement or life out of Zekren's line of sight and the sensor display within the helm aids him none in the detection of other persons, relying only on intelligence gathered from the holonet/databases or other sources of information.

Finally, built into the back of the Grieves are the Jump Jets for which act in aiding Zekren in climbing/leaping to greater heights against the weight of his armor. The propulsion system within the jump jets however are not consistent with jet packs and work only in short bursts before needing to cool down and recharge. Over time, excess use will see them either run out of fuel or otherwise overheat in which can result in critical damage to the small jets. Fuel consumption is energy based and not flammable, over heating will not result in damage to the wearer.

Strengths:
  • Heavy Resistance to blasters, slugthrowers, and lightsaber strikes and can take significant damages before being downed.
  • Internal Faraday Cage - Used to counteract the offense of EMP's, Ion Charges and Force Lightening etc (Energy Displacement).
  • Built in Jump Jets in the Grieves (Boots).
  • Heads Up display - Inbuilt Commlink and Environment mapping.
Weaknesses:
  • Heavy and reduces mobility at the expense of a greater defense.
  • Vulnerable points where there is no Turadium Plating (Underarms, Back of Knees and Neck)
  • Limited Fuel and Temperature limit for Jump Jets discourages excess use in battle.
  • Melee Combat Armor - Designed for high impact confrontations, due to the weight and materials used, consistent long range weapons fire can result in extensive damage over time.
  • Explosive or High Ordinance damage - If it can level a building it can kill a Titan. Combined with kinetic force, resistance here is considered moderate at best.
  • Environmental mapping/Sensor Readout is dependent upon recorded intelligence of suggested terrain/worlds. It cannot function of its own premise and must relay intelligence through the Lords of Chaos' intelligence network, Holo-net or other connected sources of information.

Very nicely done, first of all. I have one problems, so far:

This is very strong. Most of the resistances are high, if you could lower one to 'low' I'd be happy to stamp this, along with adding the low to the weaknesses. Along with this, you state the kinetic damage and explosive damage is a weakness where I don't believe something being 'moderate' is a weakness, please adjust this.

Amended the Following:
  • Blasters: Moderate
  • Kinetic: Moderate
  • Lightsabers: High
  • High Ordinance/explosives: Low
  • EMP/Ion: High
Added the following weakness:
  • Melee Combat Armor - Designed for high impact confrontations, due to the weight and materials used, consistent long range weapons fire can result in extensive damage over time.
Removed Moderate Kinetic resistance as a weakness.

  • Resistances (For each category choose from: None, Very Low, Low, Average, High, Very High, Extreme Ratings of High, Very High, and Extreme will need to be added as strengths with elaboration.)
We do not have a moderate rating for armor.

Please adjust your ratings accordingly.
