Heir to the Emperor, Former Senator of Denon
Intent: To create a semi unique assassination tool
Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: Baktoid
Model: XR-117
Affiliation: Independent
Modularity: None
Production: Minor (semi unique)
Material:
  • Monomolecular thread
Description: Designed for ease or use and maximum slicing ability. The monomolecular wire is composed of a strongly bonded and the size of a carbon nanotube. Made for cutting through flesh, clothing, most armors of quality 7 or below and turned into traps. The mechanism for using them is a pair of gloves with spindles on the fingers.

A small weight made to guide when used as a whip or so traps can be set across pathways and in rooms. The use of the wires is highly restricted requiring high access or lots of credits on the open market. Great for garotting though on assassination missions or disabling vehicles.

@[member="Ayumi Pallopides"] - I'm sorry, your concept on this is off base. Based on the canon source that created the Zana molecular stiletto (the foundation of the tech you're using), this tech has to be used very, very slowly and carefully, or it breaks. Your wire would break from flexing; even if it didn't, in canon it would break just from being used against flesh in an offensive manner, let alone armor. I'm aware that you previously got a knife approved with a monomolecular edge, and you should be aware that that edge is single-use, as with all monomolecular edges used in any kind of combat situation.

Denied based on concept, with apologies.
