Description: The Dominus-class starfighter was created by Sienar Fleet Systems to serve as an advanced starfighter in the Sith Navy. The cost overrun on the prototypes, however, led to the craft taking on the more limited role as the personal starfighter of the Force using elite, the Sith Knights. The craft possessed strong shields, coupled with it’s speed and armaments to make a near perfect fighter craft. The craft itself is versatile, allowing the Sith pilot to work in tandem with fighters of most other roles. It had torpedos for bombing runs, ion cannons for interdiction missions, and deadly lasers for destroying enemy fighters. Two versions of this craft exist, an experimental prototype which makes up the initial batch of the craft (see image below), and a more streamlined production model. The difference between these two craft is mostly cosmetic, with the current production model having parts more readily available and designed with upgraded components less likely to break down and thus requiring less maintenance. Overall the craft has been a boon to Sith Knights in the field.
