I watched an old Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, Conan the Barbarian, with my hubby the other day. I saw James Earl Jones and the first thing that came to mind was this:
1. That's the voice of Darth Vader
2. Pfft...Arnie would have never beat James Earl Jones as the voice of Darth Vader
3. No barbarian, no matter how much iron and juice they pumped or consumed, could beat James Earl Jones' voice as Darth Vader.
4. Lightsaber vs. Greatsword....do I need to really explain that?
5. Arnie is a terrible actor!
In summary, James Earl Jones was the perfect fit for Darth V's voice. Better voice would have been Morgan Freeman. Imagine that...a calm and soothing voice telling you that he is your Father right after he cut your hand off. Epic!
