FORCE SENSITIVE:
At the moment, no. I could see the Force playing into the character as a shallow, and undefined characteristic of luck. Haven't decided that as of yet. For now, again its no. If its there, its deep down somewhere in a dormant state, maybe only lashing out in short bursts of waves, veiled in adrenaline.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
For every strength, there is a weakness. While the weakness may not be apparent, or tied to the strength, there is definitely a connection between doing something very well, while also lacking somewhere else.
I. Quick Draw; Is quick to the draw, can usually pull out a blaster pistol without a tell or second thought. However, sometimes Dji can get a little excited, and pull the draw before a threat actually spells itself out. While it can be useful, to keep his head above the waters, it has definitely gotten him into some trouble.
II. Foresight and Paranoia; Djisso is not keen on any direct brawls or otherwise deadly confrontations, however, Djisso is adamant about staying alive. Djoorma has a great sense of foresight, and is usually prone to detecting hostility or tension as it begins to build, and is quick to draw out a secondary, or even tertiary plan within his head to make it out of whatever lay before him. He has had many close calls, and because of this, sometimes his paranoia will trick him into ditching out on a situation that could have been more beneficial for him, had he paid more attention to what was in front of it.
III. Spends the Advantage; While Djisso does a relatively good job at staying a step or two ahead of his competition or enemies, Djisso usually does not willingly enter an altercation unless the results are guaranteed in his favor. Known by some as a dirty fighter, he often claims he is not above any techniques. Djisso will throw sand, bite fingers, and use his spit. Djisso is a little overcautious, and when within the bounds of civil social aspects, ensures himself equipped with an answer to any problem. Two thugs want to beat him down in an alleyway behind the cantina as he escapes a bad deal? Good thing Djisso hired that Mercenary when he got into town to case out the only worthwhile exit point, granting him clarity to defend himself. Djisso believes that Quarren who hired him might try to rob him instead of pay him? Good thing Djisso brought his rebreather alongside the pair of gas grenades incase the Quarren pulls through with whatever plan he has concocted. Djisso tends to over complicate even the most simple of deals and claims, as whatever location is proposed then produces a ton of questions that Djisso must answer himself. The over populated cantina? Must be to get Djisso to agree to something he doesn't want to do. Empty cantina? Must be to get Djisso alone and away from any resources he may have. Mildly full, yet lots of open seating still available - cantina? Everyone in there must be working for this person.
IV. Ruthlessly Playing the Part; Generally, a lot of people may see a Bothan and automatically imagine that this person is up to no good. Well, Djisso blends in well. He is quick with the silver tongue, and believes his own lies more often than not. Deceiving potential threats usually amounts to more than a return of a bigger problem later, as Djisso tends to pair his Quick Draw abilities and convincing demeanor into a deadly combo. Nothing is easier for the Bothan than shooting an aggressor in the back. However, it can be a larger problem than solution in many cases as shooting your way out of a situation usually warrants unnecessary threat, which means paying off a lot of people and spending more time getting out of town than actually in the town.
V. Foolhardy, yet Curious; Djisso puts his own life above anything. Credits, friends, or favors and contacts are great, but how can you utilize these things if you're dead?? While Djisso is quick to save his own skin, he does believe in every opportunity as a challenge, and tends to allow his curiosity to take control of his actions more than his cowardice. If he must though, Djisso will do everything in his power to ensure his word is kept, and if it can't be, well...Thats The nature of the job. Djisso tends to be clear about what he wants, as manipulation isn't his strongest suit. While Djisso takes on nearly any job that may suit his skill set, and will even jump at the chance to do something noteworthy, it stems from his curiosity more than his anticipation for things like riches or fame. The Bothan is known by some to take on quite difficult jobs, however, his true passion is treasure. Treasure will turn any packed wallet into a potential client, and Djisso specializes in finding lost tombs and their best kept secrets.
VI. Natural Survivalist; Due to Djisso's lifetime occupation of treasure hunting, Djisso has become accustomed to iced out tombs, week long treks across humid plains, and making the most out of your surroundings for as much time as possible. This within itself is a good skill set to have, but it can also play a large role into Djisso's sometimes apparent untrustworthy tendencies and his even more frequently awkward handling of small talk and casual conversations. Djisso usually only goes into towns, cities, and space stations to find work, and then is off. Djisso does not partake in many social gatherings as he can count his friends on his hands, and they're usually not as much of friends as they are business contacts that he can trust himself to owe something to who also wont hang it over his head. Djisso is adept at finding uncovered sanctuaries and otherwise hard to find locales and is even better at delving into them. Once surviving for three weeks on one glow rod, one datapad, a combat knife, and a nearly empty vial of CryonCorp burning gel during a collapse of rock and debris from an unanticipated earthquake on the snow planet of Orto Plutonia.
APPEARANCE:
Typically, Djisso stands straight and is more or less carrying around a nominal athletic body due to his occupation. His brown fur and brown skin allows him to blend into most havens for furry species to any naked eye. Djisso has a collection of scars, cuts, and wounds. While some have healed, leaving a permanently disfigured mark, others are fresh and pulse with blood within any adrenaline bearing situations. The skin on his left hand's palm is almost completely nerve dead, and his left shoulder is almost bald, both from the same fire accident. Djisso's right nostril has been chewed up, missing small bits and pieces to it, while his left nostril and bridge between his eyes have a metallic barb through it (not depicted in the picture). The Bothan also sports a golden fang in place of his right incisor.
BIOGRAPHY:
Born on the Bothan homeworld of Bothawui, Djisso was born within a family of once rebel spies that brought the New Republic back into play after removing the Galactic Empire led by Palpatine. The family themselves were not actively spies, however, even to that point, Djisso did not like his family's past. Not because of what they did, but because of what they didn't do. He saw his family as a tool, a means to an end, not as a united people. Bothawui itself was not stronger with the New Republic than it had been under the Empire, and so Djisso pledged to himself that he would not end up like his family, now just reliving the old glories and stories instead of progressing forward. He was absolutely the black sheep of the entire family, and in his more angst-y developmental stages, decided to steal what money he could and stow away on an off worlder ship rather than stay home. The ship had belonged to Smugglers, more specifically a Corellian woman named Baron HekkTar. Once discovered, the crew planned on taking him back after contacting his family for some sort of "found" reward, but Djisso instead offered them everything he had in exchange for their silence. The Baron obliged, and went on to mentor Djisso as he would have to carry his own weight. This didn't happen until years of serving the ship as a bus boy, janitor, and things of the like. Djisso didn't mind though, he was exploring the galaxy.
The Bothan had learned much about the trade of smuggling, like the trade routes and hidden passages that the Baron had utilized for example. She trained him with a stun pistol, one of the old CDEF models, and he practiced every day at doing something with the weapon, be it drawing, aiming, shooting, cleaning, repairing, etc. For a while, the Bothan believed he would one day find himself as a mechanic, or even a modder of ships if he could get lucky, as starships themselves fascinated him. However, the dream came to an end years into the job when a smuggling run had gone bad, leaving Djisso and a handful of crew members alive aboard an escape pod, now crashed into one of the thousand moons of Iego. A snarky rival to Baron HerrTek had staged an ambush for them in the Iego System. To Djisso's knowledge, the Baron as well as the rest of the crew had perished. On the unidentified moon of Iego, Djisso spent a large amount of time with Delli Phar, the crew's Gotal sensor reader, and Gurkart, the crew's field tech specialist.
Here, Djisso was instrumental in gathering materials and then transforming the escape pod into shelter and a distress beacon. Sure that the rival of Baron would catch their distress call and finish the job, they waited a full month before crafting up the beacon and letting it rip. During that time, and the months after the beacon, most of the smugglers had perished due to a lack of food or due to idiotic situations. Djisso however learned how to manipulate sensor readings to gather the info he wanted, instead of everything the sensor had to offer by Delli Phar who had salvaged the escape pod's proximity sensors. Djisso also learned how to track his own food, and learned to really utilize his pistol against the native Iego Flyers and Gurkats (named by Gurkart), alongside Gurkart, who ended up losing his life on a routine food run that he went on without Djisso. The Bothan stuck to the Gotal, Delli, from there on out. Eventually, a ship did find them, and while rescue seemed within grasp, it was actually a migrant fleet of slavers, looking to let their slaves out of their pens to mine some asteroids near the planet of Iego during their return to the Outer Rim from the Core Worlds.
Taken into slavery by the Houk slavers, Djisso was transformed from an inquisitive sponge of knowledge into a hard case as he rebelled against the slavers many times in protest to their treatments of him and the rest of the slaves. This is where the fire accident had disfigured Djisso for the rest of his life in terms of his missing skin on his left palm, and the large patch of nearly non-existing fur on his shoulder of the same arm. Djisso had spent so much time in captivity over actually doing manual labor, Djisso had begun to create a rapport with the jailers and tormentors. Learning how to read expressions on aliens, and how to portray something while meaning something else. He didn't like it, but he needed to survive. The more time he spent in the dungeons, the more likely they would execute him as a liability. The slaves had eventually all been saved when the Houk had to abandon their slaver operations due to some local law enforcement or military annexing what facilities the Houk had, and letting the slaves free. The saviors had removed the slaves to Ord Mantell in an effort to get them into a position to where they could go wherever it was they needed to, as well as find work considering Ord Mantell had always been good for all walks of life. Djisso, now alone, vowed to search as long as he could for Delli Phar. This took Djisso to worlds like Kashyyyk, Dantooine, and Nar Shaddaa. Sick of traveling by cargo ship and passenger transport, Djisso had spent money on an X-Wing, which at this time would be an ancient relic itself. However, it was restored and he needed to learn how to fly. Djisso would spend the next year on Ord Mantell, learning to fly, and trying to survey spacers and pilots about their journeys to find out any clues about Delli. It never served to do any good considering the galaxy was so large, but it did grant him hope when he was at his most hopeless of ever finding his friend.
On these planets, Djisso always looked for Delli before moving himself into a position to work on whatever planet or moon he would end up on. Djisso used what abilities he had to track, to lie, to shoot, just so that he could live. Years of this would equate to Djisso specializing on treasure hunting as his old fascination of ships had transfigured itself into treasure due to how coveted ancient relics and talismans would be for the wealthy and powerful. The Bothan would make a name for himself in certain circles as the go-to-guy for specific missions, and while Djisso would do whatever jobs he needed to stay alive, he grasped the most out of the treasure hunting jobs. Still looking for his dear friend, Delli, he had discovered something about a Gotal sensor reader living in the Blue Sector of Corellia This is where Djisso's last mission had found him, to find an ancient lightsaber once claimed by the Jedi Master, Korikar Mallun. The mission took Djisso into the Deep Core, to the Empress Teta system where the lightsaber was found to be sold by a droid vendor who could not figure out what the object was. When Djisso arrived back onto Corellia's Blue Sector, he had been robbed of said lightsaber by a band of masked thugs and left only with a datapad that held a recording of Delli's death in the recent hours of the morning prior outside of The Loaded Chagrian, the cantina used as a drop off and pick up point for said job. Torn by what has happened, and a job gone south, Djisso looks to find his next step, and to one day find out who had set him up, and even further, who killed Delli.
SHIP:
Djisso had paid for an old X-Wing, restored (enough to function) by a more superior mechanic than himself. It would do the job, and carried a Class 2 Hyperdrive as well as normative Starfighter functions, however, he had modified it so that it could hold more of his gear when he shrank the original cockpit space availability, considering he was at least a foot shorter than most average Humanoid species.
