- Lightweight - Crafting a weapon from a Microlattice, whatever material it is made from, makes the object around the weight of styrofoam. However, it was crafted from the lightest material known: graphene. Meaning its should be even lighter. At present, the main reason the thing even has real weight, is the wooden hilt over the tang along with the cloth providing grip, as well as heavy crystals in the hilt and pommel, lastly the bronze fittings for decoration
- Improved Cutting - When the aura is activated it has cutting ability better than any weapon save a lightsaber
- Reach - The blade is made in the nodashi style, meaning just slightly shorter than a zanbato. Originally the zanbato blades were designed to fell horse and rider with one swing. The nodashi though, is actually a bit shorter. This then also was altered with a nagamaki hilt, which to appearance always seemed to be two spaces for a two handed grip, when in reality it was that each space was meant for a single hand, allowing massive backing in a slashing swing, as well as incredible thrusting power. This blade will reach out and touch an enemy in the sexiest of ways
- Lightsaber Resistant - The blade is Force Imbued, bound to Dark's aura, and when activated it becomes indestructible
- Reach - The weapon is designed for long swings or stabs. One must be incredibly ingenuitive to handle this in a close range battle.
- Nullifying Fields - The blade loses all sharpeness and added durability from the Imbuememt when within a null field, reverting it back to being a basic blade (impeccable craftsmanship, but basic none the less)
Darkul is an odd one. He enjoys, well, impaling people. Hence his desire for a bladed weapon be could basically do so with. At first he contemplated spears and like weaponry. But it was... Not right. No. So he just let his desires take over his body.
Firstly he began crafting microtubing of graphene, that went together much the same as pillars holding up the coliseum. Millions and millions of them per square inch. It required over a hundred hours, multiple machines, droids, and not to mention the constant meditating on joining the metal to his own Force Aura.
Causing it to vibrate at his frequency if you will.
Next came the tang being allowed a hollow space, where in the triunely meditated crystal number one went. Then, along with that, was another placed into the pommel. Having two does not give a secondary effect, or even make it more powerful. It just was a cautious move as Dark was not aware whether one could 'power' a weapon so long.
Lastly a polished hilt was fitted onto the tang, smoothed, and lastly wrapped wifh a fine white leather. Even after it was all finished, he also went in to add embossed designs, such as a dragon imbedded into the blade, and a tribal wave design along the hilt.
