Dinner at The Estate

Cylus Jest

Servant of the Inquisition
To the stated individual:
Hello friends and allies, I will be hosting a small dinner party at my new place of residence on Lok, The Estate. I would very much appreciate the presence of each and every one of you who are invited, and promise a splendid night filled with good feasting and good nature.
-Cylus Jest, Servant.
Each invited individual was sent a com-message identical to the one above.

Cylus paced back and forth as the servants and assorted kitchen droids prepared the meal for the day. Actually, it wasn't quite a meal, a better term would be a banquet. A splendid banquet filled with meats and fruits and other edibilities commonly associated with the term 'Food'.

There would be guests on The Estate, ones who actually wanted to come here and who weren't just being dragged away from their homes and happiness in a terrifying attempt at control. In fact, to the visitors who would be joining him today, there would be no evidence of any sort of action like that.

Besides, the dungeons were kept in a secret passage...one of the very many passages that were as much a part of the building as an artery is a part of the hand. Still, it was best to keep such matters away from the dinner table, that was just good etiquette.

He swirled his cape once as he stepped through a few corridors and ended up near the grand doorway of The Estate. The building was essentially just a very large mansion, and the pointed fence which lined the outside all led to a single gate, one ordered open for this occasion. It was a fairly dark and gloomy building, which actually fit it's purposed inhabitant quite nicely.

He eyed the pair of landing pads outside of The Estate, almost as if he thought his imagination could suddenly summon forth a vessel carrying his allies. Perhaps not, he could wait anyways.
"Ah waiting, the moment when you realize that people take ungodly amounts of time to come here."

When she had received the invitation from her employer, Judgement was. . . Surprised. Outside of joint assignments, he'd never shown much interest in her. For a moment, she had considered the possibility that it was a trap, that he had decided she was a burden, and to get rid of her.
But she shook that thought out of her head. Since he arrested her, she had been nothing but useful to their joint cause of destroying the Republic.

When she had shared her concerns with her bodyguard, Dex(link in sig), he insisted on staying by her side. She argued with him for several minutes, but the Ex-Republic soldier had stayed adamant in his position.

Which was why Dex was standing by her as their shuttle landed, his cloth mask's skeleton impression staring out the window.
Judgement sighed as the shuttle opened, turning to Dex.
"Please. . . Please, just. . .Behave."
Dex simply grunted, his arms crossed over his chest.
"As long as there's not a reason to do otherwise, J."

Judgement approached [member="Cylus Jest"] , Dex behind her.
She held out her hand in greeting.
"Hello, Cylus. This is my. . . bodyguard, Dex."

The Hapan Commander wasn't one to turn down an invitation to a banquet, especially if it was close by and took her away from the hot and dusty Morpho Center for even just a night. She hoped Hans Vaiden would join her for the dinner but it depended upon his busy schedule on The Scourge. The Commander, when not stationed on The Scourge herself, spent most of her days training The Blood Monarchs on Lok.

Tmoxin wore a long, red lace dress with her hair pulled back into a low bun on the nape of her neck:

Even though Commander Jest had his own squad and troops, the Hapan officer still traveled with two guards, stormtroopers who remained in uniform. She walked up to the entrance and one of her guards rang the doorbell. The architecture was quite unlike something Tmoxin would have picked for herself but in the cool night air of the desert, she would welcome the respite from her military activities.

Cylus opened up the doorway personally when he heard the doorbell ring and the call of his friends beginning to arrive. They were friends weren't they? As close as he would ever come the friends anyways.

He stepped back from the doorway as he gave it it's initial push, allowing it to sweep inwards and reveal the interior of The Estate. The front room held a few chairs scattered here and there and a coat rack hung in the corner. It seemed to be quite simple, not matching the remaining grandeur of the structure.

"Welcome my friends, I am quite glad that you could join me for dinner. Please, right this way." He said as he motioned them to follow through a set of corridors which opened up on a grand dining hall.

The hall contained a single long table with chairs along it's sides and a bright chandelier hung directly above it's center. In the far corner there were doors which opened up to several beings, both droids and organics moving about as they prepared everything for the feast.
"Please, sit wherever you'd like." He spoke as he himself took a seat at the far end of the table.
