Dingy dance off

Lyn had been purchased shortly after her previous master had been roasted to a crisp by an angry Mandalorinan on some back water planet. She had been auctioned off to the remote and heavily populated planet of Tattooine. Some club owner with a need for more dancers was desperate and desired to buy a few slaves to help clean, entertain, and cut back on costs. Lyn was one of the "lucky" that were chosen.

She danced in a club called The Water Fountain. It was not as bad as her last establishment but had the same sort of.. lack of class that was normal around these kinda clubs. Lyn was on a pedestal in the center of the club, she lightly swayed to the music wearing a strange leotard made from some kind of net fabric that didn't do wonders for her modesty. It was her job after all to entertain, so she didn't complain much. She could see some of the other dancers walking around and interacting with the patrons. Small flirts and winks. Tattooine was a step up from where she was last month, but it was still a dangerous place.

The music changed and she suddenly saw more dancers come up onto the glowing white pedestal she was dancing on. Most of them were dressed in tight one or two pieces. She assumed these were the paid dancers, the ones who could afford more then what the establishment offered her. She smiled as the music went on. Yet.. feeling as if it was a challenge to her. She would show these paid woman how dancing was done.

Tatooine wasn't Ashla's ideal planet, she felt at home on forrest/jungles and humid planets, she could even take big populated cities like Nar Shaddaa and Coruscant, but deserts? Yeah no, that ain't gonna happen or at least wasn't going to happen but much to the Togruta's dismay her ship was running low in fuel so she had to do an emergency landing, well it should be a good opportunity to get more supplies too.

There was one little problem tho, for some reason on Tatooine credits were not welcomed they had their own currency that for obvious reasons Ashla lacked, but not everything is lost after all she is in the more well known wretched hive of scum and villainy getting a job for a thief should be easy, the Togruta walked to one of the local cantinas.

"The Water Fountain, huh?" She chuckled a little as she thought it was a clever name

Without losing a second she enter and took a glance to the place, it was pretty much what she expected a place to have drink and watch the dancers that most likely were slaves, she frowned as the thought of that life disgust her, to have your freedom taken away and having to dance to entertain others is a life she swore wasn't coming back, but as sad as it sounds there is nothing she can do slavery is a thing this galaxy won't get rid off any time soon.

Unfortunately Karma seemed to be against her today as when she asked around the only "available" job was as a dancer, people here look for Mandalorians and experienced smugglers not a petty thief with no currency at her disposal, well nothing to do at least this time she can call quit whenever she wants.

She grab the outfit and went to change, once she was done the Togruta move to the main stage with the rest of the dancers swaying her hips to the rhythm of the music, making slow spins for the crowd to appreciate her body, as much as she hated the idea of doing this again she can't deny that the attention is something she like of this job, gotta make the best of this opportunity before leaving the planet.

There was suddenly another woman beside her. She did moves that made the audience cheer. She looked beside her.. a.. Torgruta. One she had never seen before. She pulled off the outfit well, even though it was the basic one Lyn was also wearing. The way she got the crowd excited made Lyn a little envious of the athletic form. She also didn't look like she was around here. Based on the fact that Lyn'ara found her somewhat attractive. Other dancers here simply drowned themselves in make up trying to give themselves and exotic look. This one.. this one was different.

Lyn'ara attempted to copy one of the moves the woman beside her was trying, but not having as much success from the crowd she decided to change styles. Focusing less on hips and more on her upper body movements. She could see more eyes drift up to her side of the pedestal after a minute or two of changing up her move set. She grinned and looked over at the Torgruta.

"I haven't seen you around here before. You must be new. What's your name?" She said softly as to not distract the audience from the dance

Ah, the cheer of the costumers something she never thought she'd miss, maybe is because this time she's doing it out of her free will rather than be forced to, there was something enticing about it and she couldn't deny it, following the rhythm she kept dancing even bending over a little so people could appreciate the cleavage but never going too far either, tho the cheers were shared with another dancer a Liran that Ashla had to admit was making a good job and we she was pretty, soon the girl speak to her softly enough to not distract the costumers

"New but not saying, this is just a one and done" The Togruta giggled "I'm Ashla, pleased to meet you~" She gave a wink and a smile to [member="Lyn'ara Okemi"]
