Digam Merith

NAME: Digam Merith

FACTION: The Underworld

RANK: None

SPECIES: Human

AGE: 27

SEX: Male
HEIGHT: 5 ft 11 inches

WEIGHT: 213

EYES: Hazel

HAIR: Black, with a noticeable amount of silver

SKIN: White
FORCE SENSITIVE: No

APPEARANCE: Digam, through no fault of his own, looks like someone you can’t trust. He keeps his hair short, and prefers what he calls the “bed head” look. He has some minor scar damage on the right side of his face around his cybernetic eye. He has an Average build, and if you remove the trust factor he looks like some combination of a rugged, and scholarly person in both appearance and dress.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :

 • +Programming - The only real field Digam has extensive knowledge in. Combined with his engineering talents, Digam has found robotics and droid programming to be of particular interest to him.

 • + Duelist - While he may not be a good shot, he’s damn good when it comes to locking blades (or fists). His favorite weapon is his Vibrosword and a Vibro-axe. He lacks the strength to wield the axe for long periods of time, and this has lead him to prefer using a vibroblade in combat.

 • +/-General Engineer - He can do anything from putting together a cybernetic arm, to designing a spaceship. If it’s involved in engineering of any kind, chances are he knows how to use it. This jack of all trades approach has left without extensive knowledge in the engineering field, he can put together a cybernetic arm, but without extensive modification (and a lot of trial and error) it won’t be too advanced. He can design a spaceship, but that doesn’t mean he can put the hyper-drive back together

 • +/-Cybernetics - Because of a combination of bad luck, and terrible decisions Digam has had to invest in cybernetics, including an Arm, and later a cybernetic eye. He has improved upon the original arm to include a multi-tool function, the eye he has had little time to work on, but he has added two functions consisting of a camera, and zoom-in features.

 • +/-Proud - Pride is all Digam really has, wound it and he’ll do everything in his power just to spite you. While it may get him into trouble, it also leads him to putting a lot of effort into his work. If he’s not happy with it, he’ll keep working on it until he his.

 • +/-Survivor - He’s lived his entire life scraping by, stealing from junk yards and stealing parts to make ends meet. If it comes down to survival he’ll sell someone out to survive another day

 • -Lonely - Digam prefers his solitude over hanging out with “friends” at the local cantina, this has left him few allies, fewer friends, and no-idea how to get some

 • - Poor Shot - Shooting has never been one of his strong points, this has lead him to finding an interest in weapons that are hard to miss with.

 • - Distrustful - whether it’s appearance or his attitude for some reason, nobody trusts him to keep his word, which is unfortunate because he’s unlikely to betray someone he’s vowed (or is being payed) to assist. This has lead him to adopt the rather reasonable approach of “If you don’t trust me, why should I trust you?”

BIOGRAPHY: From an early age he was alone, his father having abandoned him, and his mother dying while he was young. The only real family he had was a mandalorian who saw a use for him. The mandalorian taught him to survive and gave him hell while doing it. What little free time Digam got, between working and training, he spent it building. The mandalorian noticed and put him to work building, and repairing his gear. This would eventually lead to Digam working on the mandalorians starship, keeping it in tip-top shape. Alas, the mandalorian would eventually bite off more than he could chew and would be killed by his target leaving Digam all alone once again. Upon finding out, Digam would take everything he could carry and sell the rest knowing the bounty hunter had no family. With Creds and gear Digam would join a group of pirates and traverse the outer rim.
While traveling with the pirates Digam would expand his general knowledge of engineering and would prove invaluable to the crew. It became his job to make sure the ship was running smooth. But as with everything else, this would not last. The Pirates would eventually be ambushed by a group of bounty hunters with only a few, including Digam, getting to the escape pods and crashing to the planet down below. Once on the planet Digame would have one of his arms be crushed in an “accident”. The doctor would help keep him alive and do his best to prevent the wound from becoming infected. Ultimately the doctor the doctor failed and would be forced to amputate Digam’s arm to save his life. Believing he failed in saving Digam’s life he would lead their small group of survivors and set off. In an amazing stroke of luck, Digam would actually survive and come too a few hours later. He would then set off in the opposite direction and after traveling for a week he would come upon a trade port. After being patched up and having a crude Robotic arm installed he would depart from “That death trap of a planet”. He would never see his crew mates again.
He would eventually find himself on Dantooine, once there he would decide to go back to his roots, and would open up a small workshop and begin making credits repairing and making all sorts of gear for workers and families there. This could range from making a simple headlamp, to fixing the engines of a starship. In his spare time he began delving into robotics, he would begin by repairing droids. And eventually he would find himself making small primitive droids from what little material he had, it would be then that he would decide to expand his business and begin selling droids. The biggest issue however is that he was lacking the credits to buy the needed equipment, and he wasn’t well known enough to do personal commissions for the people who had the credits he needed. He decided to resolve this issue by creating a mechanized suit of armor, becoming a bounty hunter and adopting the persona “Goliath”
