  • {+} Slicer - Before she joined the force Dia spent her teens hacking into systems. Any computer operated doors are easy for her to break into, any computer systems are child’s play for her to gain access to.

{+} Looker - Dia’s not just a twi’lek, she’s a Lethan, a rare red skinned breed. On top of her unique skin pigmentation she’s got all of the natural beauty her race is known for.

{+/-} Inquisitive - She’s got a thirst for knowledge. Sometimes curiosity reveals new opportunities and sometimes it just kills the cat.

{+/-} Dirty Cop - Dia isn’t above taking bribes or looking the other way if she believes it benefits the greater good. Morality is varying shades of gray as far as she’s concerned.

{-} Glass Jaw - She’s not a fighter. The twi’lek is an OK shot with her standard issue blaster but detectives aren’t exactly trained killers.

{-} Hubris - Dia believes she’s the greatest investigator that the force has ever seen. This overconfidence often causes her to overlook clues or miss crucial evidence.

{-} Mild Insanity - Dia firmly believes she is living in a detective serial she used to watch as a young girl. Attempts to explain that reality and fiction are separate have proven impossible thus far.

Typically one eye will be obfuscated by a head’s up display which provides her with up-to-date information from central dispatch.

    • Standard Issue DC-17 Hand Blaster
    • Standard Issue CCPD Uniform
    • Hand-cuffs
    • Wrist-mounted datapad with communication to central dispatch
    • Heads-Up-Display unit which communicates with datapad
    • Street Clothes (for undercover work)

  • Verified Background:
Dia was born on Corellia, in Coronet City. Her father was an honest merchant and her mother danced at a local club when they couldn’t make ends meet. Growing up both of her parents stressed to her the importance of order, justice, and the rule of law. From a young age the twi’lek became fixated on the various programs about crime fighting and mystery solving. She hoped that one day she too may join the ranks of the illustrious Coronet City Police Department.

When entering her teen years the youth took an interest in computing systems and learned that she had quite a knack for how they operated. Before long she was hacking into systems and penetrating the firewalls of major corporations. Rather than use these skills to cause mischief or profit she alerted authorities and companies to the failings within their systems and advised ways they could improve their network security.

It was no surprise when the red twi’lek came of age that she would enter the police academy. After graduating and spending a few years as a beat cop the young woman was promoted to detective and after a slew of partners who didn’t work out, including more than one who got a bit too touchy-feely, she received a special dispensation to investigate solo. Though that could’ve been due more to understaffing and her supervisor’s opinion that she was becoming unhinged.

  • Officers, please answer the below questions to complete this assessment:

    1. Do you own a personal spacecraft?

No way, you think I can afford a ship on my salary?

    2. Have you ever killed anyone?
An officer only discusses fatalities with her therapist in a face-to-face setting. Not on some arbitrary form.

    3. Have you ever collected a bounty on an individual you’ve arrested or killed?
As if the precinct would still employ me if I tried to cash out a bounty…

    4. Have you ever gotten physically violent with a suspect?
I would absolutely never not do that.

    5. Are you currently taking any medication that could interfere with your judgement?
    .

    6. What is your greatest fear?
    Filling out stupid questionnaires.

    7. Who do you consider to be your greatest inspiration?
Inspector Faust. I would watch his serial every Saturday morning, put on a makeshift cap, and pretend that I was a grade A inspector just like him.

    8. How often do you feel sad or depressed?
How often is the captain in the office?
