LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE: THE TECHNO UNION

The Techno Union is a sub-committee of the Legislative Branch. It exists to represent the Will of the Confederacy's corporate sector. While unable to formally pass legislation, the Techno Union performs this role through the following:
- Coordination with the Ministry of Commerce to make the most effective usage of Federal spending.
- Attendance of Viceroyalty sessions to promote corporate and economic insight into decisions.
- No tariffs are imposed on Techno Union goods imported into Confederate space.
- Foreign tariffs imposed on Techno Union goods will be offset via property tax breaks on locations within Confederate Space.
- Exclusive contracts will be granted to each member of the Techno Union which grants sole production rights to an area of Confederate commerce.
MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA
In order for a corporation to be considered for entry into the Techno Union, they must meet the following criteria:

- The Corporation must be headquartered in, or have several locations within, Confederate space. (Headquarters, or a minimum of three locations in CIS Space.)
- The Corporation must maintain the Confederacy as its premier business partner. (A minimum of three CIS-affiliated submissions. Consistent history of Confederate support.)
- The Corporation must not have extensive dealings with adversaries of the Confederacy.
