[Development Thread] Green With Epic Armor of Awesomeness

Andrea Kryze

Innocence and Killer Instinct
Development thread for Mandalorian armor. Closed to [member="Ijaat Akun"].
A young woman looked out from a Mandalorian ship to a tropical planet below. Located in the Mandalorian System, Beskar'yaim Island was a gold mine of Beskar... and the home of a blacksmith.

Andrea had been training for a month or so now, she was growing in strength. She had developed small muscles on her limbs, and she no longer carried the stature of some kid. Andrea stood in a sturdy, but still relaxed posture, arms crossed as she went over her plan of action one more time with herself. A member of the Kryze clan, a blood born Mandalorian, she thought it was time she had her own traditional armor. Right now, she wore her casual green shirt and brown pants. She couldn't help but excitedly grin over the thought of wearing Mandalorian Armor though.

The ship landed and Kryze exited. Her blasters bounced against her waist as she stepped down, black boots pounding against the plank. In a stride of confidence, the teenager walked across the docking bay and up to the door. She readjusted her blond hair before entering the building where her hopeful beskarsmith would be. She simply could not hold her growing excitement over the armor! It would make her feel like a true Mandalorian, not just some kid trying to be one. A warm smile crossed her face as she entered.

Ijaat had erected a few surface buildings to begin transfer of certain assets and supplies to his ship in orbit as it was fitted for a long term exploration and scouting mission. He was about to set off on acquiring major assets for Gotal'Veman and expanding his business. And just getting the kark off this rock and away from all its' memories. But there was one last order to fill, and it was a custom job, and none of his apprentices (not that there were many) were up to overseeing that from beginning to end just yet.

A man in what looked like a golden wet suit with just the face visible greeted Andrea, a set of hammers and tongs belted to his waist, and a venerable sword of immeasurable age and craftsmanship resting on his back. There was otherwise no obvious sense of armament, but he carried a load of tooling easily under one arm that should have required effort with two. A broad smile split his lips as he waved.

"Andrea, right. I'm Ijaat. Come with me!"

Andrea nodded, "Yup, that's me!"

The teen noted that his belt was pretty much flooded with tools. She followed him as they went by, hopefully to where the armor forging would start. Andrea couldn't help but wonder about just what it would look like. She knew that armor could be personalised. She didn't know how it was done. It certainly was a learning experience...

She followed right behind him, eager to find out.

Noting the young one's eagerness, Ijaat smiled as the walked through hallway after hallway. He stopped to sign a few orders, or look over a data-slate with a design on it from an apprentice, or even in one case to ask a aging looking woman shuffling about with caf and food for the workers how her cat was. Though the operation was swiftly growing, it was apparent Ijaat knew almost all his employees in some form, and in addition to running a well oiled and tight ship, seem to care about how those under him were doing, genuinely. Even if the words were blithe and cocky, they were a thin veneer to the true emotions underneath them.

"Well Andrea, the process will not be handled directly by me anymore, to be honest I'm simply too busy... So we're going to try out a new system today on my ship.... IF that's ok with you... It's on the far side of the island so... Step into the little bullet train here and we'll move to my private hangar. I am going to let your armor be the first to be designed, developed, and personalised by my artificial intelligence program, Geoffery... I'll oversee it all, directly, of course, but if I did it by hand it would take days or weeks... Geoff can make that happen in hours to a day or two at most. Sound good?"

[member="Ijaat Akun"] okay, I have no idea what to write here ._.

Andrea nodded, "O-okay."

The young woman stepped into the bullet train.

"How exactly does it work, I mean... how do I engineer it? Like-" Andrea laughed a bit, "I have no idea how armor smithing works. Droids, I understand. Beskar though? I may be a Mandalorian by blood, but beskar is new to me."
