PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Detritus Ren is a well built man standing at 1.83 Meters and weighing 113.398 Kilograms, he is an imposing figure as well as strong. He is covered in orange and black robes, signifying the new path he is on as a reborn Master of the Knights of Ren. Wielding a fiery orange saber to match his Ren robes, he is most seen with a helmet taken influence by both Ren and Sith designs of old. The mask goes along with the Ren tradition of intensity and intimidation for the Knights of Ren's enemies. His orange colored robes mark his unique path as one who walked between both light and dark. Outside of his robes and mask, Detritus looks like a normal well built human. His body riddled with scars upon his muscular body, scorch marks from various conflicts. His skin has a light grey color, a sign of his Dathomiri traits. Just like the Dathomiri he possesses ash colored hair, and his eyes are normally a dark brown, but blaze yellow under the corruption of the Dark Side.
INVENTORY
Detritus Lightsaber to which he dubs The Ren. A lightsaber crafted during the Third Imperial Civil War, now a weapon used for evil. Carries a cracked Kyber Crystal once belonging to Hans, while also powered by a rare Kohlen Crystal. Not as powerful as a standard lightsaber, with or without the crossguard vents able to deal nasty damage it's opponents in the form of jagged cuts, and third degree burns as well as to cut through any shield.
The mask of Detritus Ren holding similar design techniques to Ancient Sith masks, as well as the more cobbled, and rustic masks of the Knights of Ren. In typical Ren fashion, the mask is to provoke fear into his opponents, if not to throw them off balance when coming face to face with the Master of Ren.
The Night Vulture. A proud ship of the Knights of Ren and mobile base of operations, stolen from the New Imperials by the Knights. This ship is as silent as it ever is deadly. Able to appear and disappear when it can.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Detritus in another life was bound by the noble qualities of honor, loyalty, and a deep regarded sense for what he viewed as good. When he was a boy he served the New Imperial Order faithfully. Joining the ranks of Imperial Knights, he was a steadfast believer in the Light Side, and much like his father before him was a believer in Imperial Ideals. He possessed courage, and cared deeply for his friends. As a young Imperial Knight he hated the Sith, for the Sith had turned his Mother Pom Stych Tive into a puppet Queen of Dathomir. This moment cemented his deep hatred for the Sith that would carry all through his life. Detritus served faithfully within the Imperial Knight's ranks fighting worlds such as Bastion and Vjun. Following his corruption by the Dark Side, Detritus became increasingly erratic as the Sith desired to control him like his father. Following this he would betray everything he believed in. Going as far as to kill his best friend. Following his death, Detritus gone mad from the deed that spilt his spirit to the bone. Years following his betrayal he would wonder the galaxy, until the Nightsisters of Dathomir tried to heal him and teach him the ways of the Ichor. This would ultimately lead to Detritus betraying his sisters, stealing the secrets of the Ichor and being reborn as the new Master of the Knights of Ren.
STRENGTHS
Walker of Ichor and Shadow - Detritus's unique blend of both Dark Side and Nightsister Magicks make him a unique foe. Able to cloak himself, teleport around his enemies, or even raise the dead. Combined with his knowledge of the Dark Side makes him a unique foe to reckon with.
Brutal Duelist - With most of his life spent in War, Detritus has become a capable warrior, even his skills with a blade are enough to rival and even surpass Kyrel Ren in his own right. He strikes fast and hard against his foes.
WEAKNESSES
Beware the Light- Detritus having been afflicted by the Sith finds the Light Side of the Force repulsive. Powerful attacks steeped in it's energy such as Force Light will literally burn into his corrupted flesh.
Insane Cultist - His time wandering with a broken mind, has turned Detritus into a mad cult leader. While this has charismatic qualities able to shepherd the massed through the Gospel of the Hidden Maw, this has drawbacks. As in his insanity can push Detritus over the edge to make impulsive decisions, some of the those decisions can prove costly.
HISTORY
Detritus Ren was once born as Jin Kyrel, son of Nightsister Pom Stych Tive and Master of the Knights of Ren Kyrel Ren in 861 ABY. Pom wished for her son to grow a happy life learning the Ichor on Dathomir, untouched by the darkness. The Knights of Ren had marked Jin for they're own and with the help of Nightsisters, would use the dark magick of the Ichor to dramatically age the newborn Kyrel into a young man. A controversal decsion with disasterous consequences. The Knights would watch him from the shadows, before the boy craving adventure and excitement heard of the New Imperial Order. With a naive dream to see Dathomir freed from the yoke of the Sith, Jin would find himself leaving his home and headed to Bastion to join the splinter group of Imperials who promised a better future free from evil.
His body had aged, yet even with his new mind Jin would find himself emboldened by the bravery and ferocity of the New Order. Convinced by them, he entered as one of the Imperial Knights sworn to serve the Emperor Rurik Fel. From there Jin would find himself a battle brother in the form of an Imperial Knight named Hans. A Nobleman that answered the call to adventure. From then on the two were practically inseparable, both of them fighting on many fronts of the Third Imperial Civil War. However, much like the dark shadow that had cast over his family it wasn't meant to last. During the Battle of Vjun within the depths of Darth Vader's Castle. Jin Kyrel would confront a Sith Lord in a bio suit, but as Jin would seek to strike him down, the suit released it's deadly spirit. Jin overwhelmed by the power of the Sith Lord would find himself possessed and turned to the Dark Side. Following this encounter would Jin disappear from the battle, and from the New Imperial Order.
When Jin did return was on the fertile lands of Dantooine. It was here where both Hans and the Emperor Rurik would apprehend Jin, and try to convince him to turn away from the Dark Side. He engaged in a vicious duel barely holding his own against the Emperor, but managed to kill his best friend in a fit of rage. The death of Hans had snapped Jin Kyrel away from his anger, and his mind was subsequently broken as a result. Fleeing the Emperor, he took Han's lightsaber with him. His mind distraught over the death of his closest friend, had for a moment turned Jin away from the path of the Sith. Overcome by his grief for his friend, he would try to bleed Han's silver crystal. Only in his sadness, and pulling one foot away from the darkness he would crack the crystal into an unstable structure.
Wanted by the New Imperial Order for his treason and death of a fellow Imperial Knight, Jin would disappear for a time. He wandered the galaxy, a broken shell of his former self. Unable to forgive himself for the death of his best friend, he sought solace in the liberated world of Dathomir. It was here for years that he spent here, before hearing of his Father's path as the Maw's World Eater. Briefly seeking him out for a short time, learning the truth of the Knights of Ren and his plans from the moment of his birth, Jin would follow the Knights for sometime before returning to his self imposed exile on Dathomir. Following his Father's death at the hands of the Noble Clan. The Sword and Shield of the New Jedi Order, would the Knights of Ren seek Jin out for a way at reviving the group of warriors. Jin for a time attempted to heal his mind with the Nightsisters, but when the Knights appeared to him with news of his father's death at the hands of the Jedi, was when his anger emerged. He betrayed his sisters, and found himself leaving Dathomir with the Knights of Ren.
As he had left to find his new place among the Knights. A familiar voice began to speak to him. A voice through the Force that gave him his new name, and a new path. A path to break the Galaxy once more. To herald in Kyrel Ren the World Eater as a new God to consume the galaxy, for he had been given a place of honor and worship. The voice spoke to him, compelling Jin to seek him out, to spread MAW ways to those that would follow the words of the World Eater, and to remind those of the fear such words and beliefs carried to those who remember it. The voice decreed that he was no longer Jin Kyrel anymore, but Detritus Ren child of the Shadow. The one to spread the way across the galaxy! Given a new name, and a new purpose. Detritus now wanders the cosmos seeking the voice in his head, and lead a new generation of the Knights of Ren in plunging the galaxy in Shadow, and consuming it all in the name of the World Eater, hoping to one day exact vengeance on those that had slain his Father.
