SPECIAL FEATURES
Power Core - Near the front of Destiny, there is an oversized power core that provides power to the engines, defense systems, and other important functions of the ship. To work optimally, the core has to burn enough fuel that transparent and corrosive fumes come out of the engine, so the engine is partially exposed to the outside environment, allowing fumes to escape before they collect.

Command Bridge - The bridge of Destiny has two floors of similar structure. The bottom floor is for defense systems, engines, and power management, while the top floor is for navigation and offensive coordination.

Strengths:
  • Command Center: Destiny has advanced communications systems and is capable of swift and efficent coordination between different parts of the ship in the heat of battle.
  • Carrier: Unlike Defiance, Destiny is capable of holding starfighters in multiple different setups, greatly increasing its recon effectiveness.
  • High-Powered: Due to the size of Destiny's power core, it is able to fly at a maximum speed about two/thirds that of an X-Wing.
  • Maximum Space: Destiny is a fully military vessel, and does not have any of the business components that Defiance had, allowing for full use of all space in the ship.
Weaknesses:
  • Weakling: Destiny has much less armor than Defiance, and is reliant on support vessels to engage larger warships. Destiny has very little arament for a frigate, and even though it can handle a squadron of starfighters well, other frigates and larger vessels can quickly decimate it at medium to close range.
  • Aim for the bridge: The command bridge of Destiny is much more exposed than Defiance's command bridge, and if the Destiny's sheilds go down, the command bridge can be destroyed completely by a single starfighter/
  • Weak Point: The exposed power core is extremely vulnerable if Destiny's sheilding is penetrated, and a single missile impact can instantly rip the ship in half and generate fires all throughout the vessel.
Description: Plans for the Destiny were already being made before Defiance's early destruction, but plans accelerated forward after its defeat. After two months of hard work, the Defiance was fully completed and operational. Its power core took three weeks to design and create due to high-power requirements, and it generated fumes that were harmless at first, but if accumilated, were highly corrosive. However, the engine preformance was above expectations and exposing the core partially to the enviroment solved the issue of the fumes.

Cargo Capacity: 4,800 metric tons
Crew: 388 (minimal), 812 (optimal)
Passenger Capacity: 1,012 maximum
Consumables: 10 months food/water, 1 year fuel
Escape Pod Capacity: About 96% of optimal crew (780/812)

Hangar: Average
The starfighter count you've given isn't considered 'Average', though surprisingly this ship could be called underpowered. If you wish, you can have two squadrons for an 'Extreme' rating or keep the one for a 'Moderate' rating and I'll stamp this for primary approval.

Buffed hangar to Extreme and nerfed hyperdrive (probably won't make up for it, but that doesn't mean Destiny is OP now)
