This staff like saber has 3 activation studs. One near the hilt is a proper button that is toggled once pressed it turns the saber on or off. The other two however are trigger based causing the blade to turn on or off when pressed and then the saber goes back to its previous state when released. If the primary stud has set the blade to on then the other two turn it off and vice versa
Strengths:
Desken built his saber with his mindset of trickery and preservation of life all at the same time. The saber even when not ignited is one full meter in length. It has a slightly curved pommel at the emitter which is weighted to give the staff more impact force when used by itself like that of a hammer. Half way along its length there is the second trigger for the blade, a small rectangular trigger laid nearly flush with the grip requiring a hard squeeze to activate it and it reverts if the grip is loosened. Finally on the other end of the weapon the grip forms a circle also weighted but the clear space is not wide enough to fit his whole hand though it does provide a grip. Set in the furthest point of the circle is the final activation stud similar to the one in the center allowing for quick activation/deactivation of the weapon.
While at first glance the weapon seems un-decorated Desken has included a very slight engraving along the entire length of the durasteel but the carvings arent very deep requiring the weapon be exposed to light for them to stand out as they are reflected. The engravings are a simple wind like swirl pattern that covers the weapon though each line of the wind is continuous having no set starting or end point.

- With a long blade of the Damind crystal the blade has great deflective qualities when it comes to blocking blaster bolts.
- The additional activation studs allow Desken to rapidly turn the blade on and off for his saber style
- Weighted hilt at blade end and base allow the staff to function as a short staff even if blade isn't ignited
- Long handle makes a target for other saber users
- Complicated grip and style makes it tricky for other people to use.
- Cortosis will short the blade if in contact.
