Strengths:

• Heavy Armament: The Delta-class has several laser cannons, missile launchers, and even a fully operational turbolaser turret. It can vaporize any enemy starfighter the comes in range.
• Excellent Speed: Even with all of the heavy weaponry, the Delta-class maintains a top notch speed only rivaled by smaller starfighters and especially interceptors.

Weaknesses:

• Weak Shielding: To make room for passengers and power generators for the engines and weapons, the shield generator had to be reduced a few sizes from the original JV-7 varient. Though while it's uncommon for any ship of this size to have a shield generator, the one on this ship is weaker than standard-issue.

Description: Once a widely used escort shuttlecraft during the time of the Galactic Empire, the Delta-class JV-7 Escort Shuttle was eventually phased out by the surge of new technology that always came afterwards. Eight hundred years later and the shuttle was recreated by Imperial Death Squadron Shipyards, a company that sought to bring back vessels from the Galactic Empire of old.

Now called the Delta-class JV-9, it sports the same armament as its predecessor; five laser cannons, two concussion missile launchers, and an aft turbolaser turret. It shares the speed as well, being faster than most gunships and shuttles, but slower than conventional snubfighters and interceptors. One thing that changed from the initial design was the reduction of the shield generator, to make room for the new-age electronics during the retrofitting of the JV-7 design.

The Delta-class JV-9 is currently sold to anyone who can afford it, offering protection during travels through contested space or in general.

This seems to be missing the "Squadron Count" field, though.
