Sanya waited in a large room with a rounded and decorated ceiling. There was no one in there but her although she was soon expecting someone, someone from the republic remnant. In a way she was excited and yet nervous at the same time. Diplomacy and political endeavours wasn’t her strong suit. Yet as a queen it was something she had to deal with, and not only that but she was representing the outer rim coalition.

Finally taking a seat from pacing she’d set the papers down. Most of them were empty sheets to take notes and hopefully form a contract that works in everyone’s benefits. The small com link device beeped a tone. A single finger would press it. “Yes?” Sanya said. “The delegates will be there shortly. Clearance codes check and we have guided them to the diplomacy centre’s hanger." “Thank you, can you send someone to guide them here?” “of course.” The feline woman talk a deep breath and let her feet sit flat on the floor.

Azreth Vandic

Dead Man's Captain
[member="Sanya Val Swift"]

While he was still a member of the Dead Man's Legion, he was not a convicted criminal, not entirely. This was merely guard and escort duty. The people here were important, and Azreth was expected to stay quiet, speak when spoken to, and be the human shield for the VIPs. On his comm channel the order came through to begin escorting the VIPS to Sanya, and the other Republic Remnant members awaiting them. In his military uniform, proudly wearing the Dead Man's badge, he stood attentive, waiting to see the VIPs to escort them.

Well, it's better than being stuck in the barracks. Were his only thoughts at the moment.

He had only been with the Republic for a short period of time, but he had noticed the good it was doing for the galaxy. He truly respected that, regardless how he sometimes felt like he was nothing to them. There was a minimum pay, warm food, and bath, the gear was top notch, and the company could be pleasant. Also don't forget the booze.

Mark Crassis surveyed the area as he stood there awaiting their escort to arrive, much of his weight supported on the wroshyr tree cane held tight to his right side. Shifting, Crassis face remained expressionless, despite the pain shooting up through his leg from the movement. He hated traveling places anymore. No matter how luxurious, he found the cramped nature of a ship caused his leg pain to get worse....and with time it was doing just that anyway. If only his body were as young as his spirit.

"Try to look less like a soldier would you." Crassis said turning his attention to [member="Azreth Vandic "]and eyeing the badge on his uniform as he did so. Crassis made a mental note of the insignia, The Dead Men....interesting. Crassis filed that bit of information away in the back of his mind, in case it was of use later down the road. Members of the Dead Men were usually shady individuals, and shady individuals had histories that could be exploited.

"We are on a peaceful diplomacy mission. You are here for protection, but we certainly do not want them to get the impression that we are concerned about them." Crassis said, clarifying his point. "There is no indication that they mean us harm and we want this to be an amicable meeting." Crassis said. There was no chastisement in his voice, simply trying to make the soldier understand that his presence here, even if nothing was said, would likely be interpreted. As Crassis spoke another approached, and Crassis stepped out ahead of the soldier to greet them.

"Greetings." Crassis said bowing his head to the individual who lead them toward their destination. "If you'd be so kind as to keep an eye out for others, the call went out for others to come, but I am not sure if they will make it." Crassis said, wondering if they were the first to arrive. "Have any other delegates arrived?" Crassis asked but was unable to get an answer to the question as they quickly arrived at their destination. Stepping into the room, Crassis bowed politely to [member="Sanya Val Swift"], a smile covering his face.

"Your majesty." Crassis said straightening, taking much of his weight off the cane, despite the pain, so that it appeared to be more of an accessory than a necessity. Crassis had high hopes for this meeting, but he was still an old spy and would look to have any surprise at his advantage if he could. "I am Senator Mark Crassis of Ciomia."

As the two entered the room Sanya would stand and bow in return. "Welcome to Ancora Mr Crassis. I hope your flight was a safe one." She said with a smile. "Please sit, would you like any refreshments?" The woman asked out of common courtesy. The woman herself sat back down readying the sheets and pen. there was no telling what to expect. Every meeting was different and there was also no telling how things should start off. Although she had an idea. "As you may be aware already, my name is Sanya Val Swift. Today I'm not just representing my people but my allies too, The Outer Rim Coalition. From rumours I've heard and the meeting i had with an old friend i have and idea how far the republic has set up. So i have reached out so we could discuss the possibility of developing a favourable relationship. Now I'm not entirely sure on your governments status currently but I am sure that you would be looking for friends.

The galaxy is full of awful people who hold a lot of power and standing alone is a sure way to see things fall. It was what happen to the republic before and i do not wish to see that happen again." She said laying it straight. "I can even assure you that soon we will share many common enemies, The empire, Sith and first order are certainly ones to be weary of. To make things easy for the first round i will play my part as representing the outer rim then move onto what me and my people can offer and maybe receive in return." Her words was spoken in a way that sounded like a normal business meeting as it was the only way she knew. Even if there was allot more at stake.
