Delayed Burial

Premise

Torc Cabal, a human scientist believes he has created a weapon that has the potential to change the way warfare is fought. He thinks he has genetically engineered an airborne bioweapon that can infect a host and destroy them cell by cell. Torc traveled to Muunilinst, to meet with the InterGalactic Banking Clan to withdraw embezzled funds from the Cartel in order to produce more and sell the product to the highest bidding faction. What he wasn't aware of was that he had a bounty on his head from both the Hutt Cartel, and the Silver Sanctum Coalition. When it comes to morals, an assassin and ex-assassin clash.

Little did her contractors know...she could care less about the affordances of the target she was after. Whatever he did, it mattered none to her. All she wanted was her payment, her tunnel vision left her emotionally detached from the world. Where as multiple lives were at stake, even hers, and yet she remained numb to it all. Subtlety though, she craved this experience. For her, the thrill was being close to the edge of death. Her line of work feed the right muse and it was the one thing that provided her the high she needed.

She wasted no time, High Port Space Station was the likely place she would find her target. It was the place to be when other races were looking to do business with the Muuns and the InterGalactic Banking Clan. She had been trailing him for a couple of days, but its never been the right time for her. She need more information, with the spaceport gleaming with the rich and higher ups she failed to lock in on the right hotel he would be staying in. This wouldn't take much, but the thing about her was that she preferred up close and personal kills. Killing with her bare hand just seemed the more efficient way to her, in most cases.

Standing in the center of Highport she literally felt sick, just from watching the ambitious merchants and politicians scheming for profits, it irritated her to her core and only made her want to end this as quickly as she could. All she had to do was finish tailing the pig.

A person of interest is Torc Cabal. Reports had hit her desk of a man, a scientist, who is developing biological weapons with possible connections to the Intergalactic Banking Clan. The Silver Sanctum shadow operatives have been keeping Coci informed of any further developments, whether they are progress in the weapons design or any movement of the Cabal himself. The Sanctum does not have a bounty on the scientist, Jedi should never place such things on people regardless of their crimes, but rather, deal with them themselves, as Jedi.

Not many Jedi have the stomach for this line of work, questionable they deem those that enter the shadows, but when needed they do not hesitate to call on them. Coci will go alone on this mission, although she is a Shadow, she is also the Master of the Order and so she will perform her duty to the galaxy in both capacities. This mission is very top secret, with only one other knowing of her departure.

Coci had already arrived to the High Port Space Station, here under the cover of a client to meet with the bankers to discuss high finance to back a 'project'. She had acquired accommodation here and is in her room preparing to go and find the target. On her bed lays a change of clothes, her lightsaber, a pistol and a long black case. In the long black case is the White Mouse, her personal Nightstinger rifle purchased from Firemane.

But first to locate the target within the Station.

Evening
Pantalomin Coin Inn

She had been waiting hours, posted just outside the entrance of the Pantalomin Coin, she would take small strolls to nowhere occasionally. However, the moment she had been waiting for had presented itself. From the corner of her eyes she saw the doors activate and slide open due to someones presence. It was growing late, so the port wasn't bustling as it once was before. Two weequay bums exited side by side, suspicious as ever. She turned her head slightly, and sat down in an empty seat just beside her. After gracefully crossing her legs she smoothly turned her body around so that she was facing their direction. To them she would appear the normal citizen.

Behind them was a man who seemed to fit Torc' description. From examining him closer she saw that he was internally in a state of paranoia. How fitting seeing as how there was a bounty on his head. For a man to boost security they must have been aware of the danger. In his hand was a metallic case that was attached by a metal cord strapped to his arm. That must've been the "weapon" he carried it close, clearly not valuing the lives of anyone else around him. They started off towards the Skyhook, a large repulsor craft that connected High Port to Harnaidan below.

She pushed her way inside with the many others that were all being relieved of their shifts at the orbital station. She turned her head, so she would remain unrecognizable.

She overheard Torc, "I'm going to be late...we should've done this earlier. Hutts are slow...but their orders travel fast."

When the doors open, the air flew in and the people flung themselves out. She went right with the crowd still holding on to her cover. While Torc and his henchman went to the left, she went right a few feet before stopping and turning in the opposite direction. Essentially what she did was follow them through the city. They seemed to be moving at a pace higher than the norm so she wondered what their destination was. All that she was led to was a superspire, and to put two and two together it must've had some ties to the hutts, or the banking clan. At least thats all she could determine.

Picking up the data pad, Coci open a file marked Torc. As the blue screen scrolled with the latest information on the target, all she wanted was the holoimage of him and she took note of his face all his features, lastly the basic information of height and weight, eye and hair colour. Although those features can be changed it was all they had on the man. Coci undressed down to her undergarments and picked up her black body suit. She peeled herself into it and zipped it up at the front before sitting on the bed to place her boots on. She turned, her hand reached out and caressed the black case beside her, as if caressing a lover, it had been some time since they had spent time in each others company. Not that she really missed it, but still her instincts remained, she could feel it well enough brewing up inside of her.

Assembling the White Mouse, quickly and effectively, she placed her hand along the barrel using the force to clean it of any impediments. Once she was satisfied Coci stood up and placed the rifle over her shoulder. The last thing she needed had been resting on the bed, her mask. Her hand reached out, took it up and she placed it to her face securing it into place. Attached to her wrist is a comlink, her finger pushed the button on the side, sending a message to [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] that she had arrived and safe, and will soon acquire the target and take him out.

Coci Heavenshield no longer, but Creimire.

As she walked to the door to leave, Creimire vanished within the force.

The doors to the repulsor lift opened slowly and gave way to her appearance. The lights from above shone on her forehead and slightly lit the room. She was looking up before she arrived to the 5th floor, and when the doors opened she slowly tilted her head back down. She let out a sigh before she took a step forward, she exited, swiftly, and smoothly almost as if she moved in slow motion. She looked to her left and saw just a wall, which then pointed her in the right direction. She moved to her right and came around a corner.

Just ahead were those two guards from earlier, they hadn't noticed her initially but as she closed in they spotted her figure. The dim lighting told that the building was shut down for the night, but for her it set the atmosphere of the situation. Her long, black trench coat flowed smoothly in the makeshift wind she created through movement. The lights reflected from its leather, and made her stand out. She began by walking slowly, which picked up the pace as she moved in closer to the targets ahead.

These mere thugs were just that. Simple mercs hired to look intimidating. She thought that maybe one of the two carried a blaster of some sort but the one near her held a stun baton. How cute. As they warned her when she got closer, she didn't heed it at all. She literally walked up to the first one, and he lunged forward with the intent of striking for her with his baton.

Without shedding much emotion, she quickly turned side ways, and grabbed his weapon arm with her right hand, gripping tightly. She pulled it with her as she pivoted, bringing her left leg and foot and also the brute with her. Now she had both of her opponents in front of her. With his arm still in her grip she took her left hand broke his arm at the elbow, punching it inward and throwing him into a wall. The other grunt pulled his blaster and pointed it at her. She swiftly brought up left leg from the back and kicked the barrel of his weapon upward, causing the energy beam to shoot upward. When dust fell down on them she acted while he was briefly debilitated. Following up her initial attack she used her right hand to grab his face, lining up the very bottom of her palm with his chin. With force she pushed his head into the wall, with all of the force coming from his chin and slamming into the wall behind him.

After pushing as hard she could into his face she eventually let go, and let him slide down the walls and land on the floor. She grabbed the blaster and shot both of his legs, and then turned around and shot the other in his. They weren't worth the killing. She stepped over him and threw the blaster to the side. She cracked her neck, and straightened her jacket. Shaking her head, she stood in front of the door that held her target behind it. This was it.

Ripples of the force shifted around her. Silence, no sound at all came from Creimire as she skuttled out of the lift behind the beings. No one knew the White Mouse was there, no whispers through the force telling anyone they had company. There is no threat to her that would detect her, not yet anyway. Torc was aggitated and rightly so, consider what he carried, which was obvious enough to any with the knowledge. This was a tricky mission, not only is it her directive to remove the target but to secure the contents of that case, after all she could not allow it to just sit unprotected after he is dead.

Her black eyes flicked around the area outside of the lift, watching Torc but more so to see who else might be interested in the man, there would be of course .. she knows the workings of the galaxy well enough that others had their fingers in this pie. It was then she noticed a woman following him. Unaware of Creimire's presence at this point, by her movements she is trained in tagging someone, and good at it too but what of her interest in Torc?

It seemed Creimire now has two targets to remove. Creimire followed the woman in the long black coat, well at least she has style, Creimire mused to herself considering what she prefers to wear. Rounding a corner she did, and Creimire remained to watch. The woman approached some thugs and dispatched them quickly and with little effort, oh she is good. But they can't be lift alive. Creimire silently walked up the alley way toward the woman, stood behind her taking im her form and presence, the force wrapped around her body would not reveal her presence .. not until Creimire desired it so.

The thugs on the ground groaning in pain had to be silenced and as soon as the woman moved inside, Creimire would eliminate them.

Being the lady she was, she simply opened the door and walked in silently. Of course the inhabitants within would notice her, but she was no brute and kicking down the door just wasn't energy she planned to expend at the moment. The two men inside stared at her confused, their mouths moved but she was deaf to the sound. As she walked she kept eye contact and the thrill started up, though barely enough to excite her to where she really wanted to be.

"Questions...Questions...no need to be surprised you know why i'm present Torc." she said stopping in her tracks and talking in her soft voice that had a ominous tone to it. "However, I refuse to engage in this small talk...I personally think the antagonist of the stories always waste so much time at this phase. The Cartel sends their wishes..now accept your fate." she began taking steps again, from the looks of it the banker would be first.

She walked right up to him, examined his thin frame and looked him dead in his face. He wasn't really worth it for her...but she refused to leave any witnesses. With extremely fast reflexes she kneed him in the stomach with great force, which brought him to his knees as he fell towards the ground and turned him and round and wrapped her left arm around his throat to strangle him. She held him there for a while and eventually threw him to the floor beside her. When she look up she saw Torc in shock and moving backwards towards a large window.

Jade, at a normal pace, walked up to him approaching him while her body began to tense up as if she was about to act. Seems as if he unlocked the case, probably to show his associate his creation. She kicked him into the window with enough force that it cracked upon contact.

"I promise to make it quick...maybe."

She kicked him again and this time through the window so he would fall.

She waited until the woman had passed through the door before snapping the necks of the thugs. There was no resistance, they did not see it coming, and it would be a long time before found their bodies. The blame of their demise would be set upon the woman, the cameras, if there were any, would only reveal her identity. Creimire entered the room. The meeting had began and the target sitting in place about to reveal his 'wares'.

The assassin, taking command of the situation and disabling what appeared to be the banker. She killed swiftly, his body slumping to the floor with his head at an odd angle. The life of the man entered the force.

Creimire followed the woman, sensing what she was about to do, but it is dangerous the case is open and a fall might see the 'weapon' released. The second hit had Torc falling through the window. Creimire raced passed the woman and jumped out after him. Uncloaking as she landed below, Creimire raised her arms and stopped his fall before he hit the hard surface. She is revealed but cares little about that.

As Torc lay there in complete confusion, Creimire removed her saber and cut off his hand that had the case secured to it. A scream issued from him, a plea for his life but Creimire paid no attention. She closed the case once more. Creimire is not here for bounties, looking up back toward the window "If you want your credits .. come and get it". Words directed to the female assassin.

She peered through the broken window, as she didn't hear his screaming. From above she saw someone else, apparently they saved him from his death. She squinted her eyes, and didn't make a sound. Things seemed to be getting interesting. Never had she been thrown a challenge like this, and this person seem to be of another world...this would be a foreign battle that held so much excitement.

Seemed they were only a few floors up, perhaps three at the most. She jumped out of the window but remained close to the wall as she fell. When she got closer and brought her right foot back and pushed off propelling herself forward. She tucked and rolled as she came into contact with the ground.

She slowly stood up from the ground. "I would love my credits...but you I want even more." she started to pace very slowly, moving from left and right as she spoke. This person, she couldn't quite make out...shrouded in darkness.

"May I propose something...?"

The butt end of her saber hilt struck the side of Torc head knocking him out cold. He is alive, but she hoped, not for long. Creimire stood up, watching the woman prowling around and eyeing her. Creimire's force senses on high alert, she had never seen this woman before but sensed her to be a killer. A smile crossed her lips, "What more do you want, what is your proposal?", she asked with more than a little curiosity.

"If you are to deliver this man dead .. do it, or I will". She stood back a few paces to give this woman room to complete her mission, if that is what it truly was. This man cannot remain alive, to live another day to develop such horrendous weapons once more. And Creimire would make sure he would die even if it meant to kill this woman as well.
