Description: Defiance, jokingly called the second Tainted City by its inhabitants, stands as a bastion of absolute freedom against the rest of the Galaxy. Much of Malachor's culture came with the settlers that build it, and so the city stands as a mirror to the former glory of the Free Cities. Build inside and around the ruins of a city that once stood on Katarr, the free people once more formed scrap, blood and dirt into a haven for criminals, scoundrels and dark siders of all kind, with the watchful eyes and the helping hand of their Prophet upon them. Violence and art, scrap and beauty, darkness and light, all can be found throughout Defiance, fueled by the spirit of Malachor V.

-The Spire of Darkness: Like the Spires of light mark the center of the Tainted City, the Spire of Darkness overshadows the city below it. Powerplant and seat of power, the spire is purposely designed to be reminiscent of its sister tower in its sister city. Not only does the spire provide energy for the city around it, it also comes with a set of light absorbing cells which can shroud itself in darkness in case of an attack. Build out of the scrap that Katarr left behind for them, the Spire stands as the dark guardian of its people.

-The Twisted Core: The City's center. Build around the half faded, yet still functional buildings that were left on Katarr, the twisted core focuses around the Spire in its middle. The core represents the main hub for trade inside Defiance, with most shops and businesses being placed here. It is one of the more moderately dangerous areas of the city, with private security and the Tainted Legion keeping crime and violence as low as possible. Most people living in the core are considered the wealthier inhabitants of Defiance, making it the part were to most influence of the city as whole can be found. Housing in the Core is rather expensive, as many of the structures there are considered rather high quality, as they use much the craftsmanship of the city before.

-Memory Halls: A set of several intact underground complexes left behind by the former inhabitants of Katarr, which were made into a place of art and remembrance. Found all throughout the city, the halls are filled with pictures and graffiti, often stories and symbols that remind their creators of what there was before, be it Malachor, their homes or their families. Memory halls are also common places for social gatherings, raves and other kinds of events. The positions of the halls are often well keep secrets by those that discover them, only shared in small groups.

-The Black Sea: Katarr might be a dead world, but its sea never run dry after the attack of the lord of hunger. While there is no life within the black sea, as the body of water on the east side of the city was dubbed, it still quickly became and important part of the infrastructure. Thanks to a water purification plant, the water of the black sea gets cleaned and spread through the whole city. Many pirates and smugglers hold their homes close to the black sea, as there is a lot of free space where ships can be placed. The population density around the sea is low compared to the slums and the core. The area around the Black Sea is well known for its many small bars, clubs street food and drug trade, making it the district that draws most outsiders, yet is also considered one of the most dangerous of them.

-Slums: Located in the west of the city wait the slums, making up the largest part of Defiance. Build out of scrap and ruins, there barely anything left of the old city in the slums, leaving the people to live in makeshift homes build out of everything they can find. The closer the slums reach to the core, the higher the standards found. Near the spire the slums show little different to a middle class life on a world like nar shaddaa, while the western edges are ravaged by hunger and sickness. As the spirit of Malachor life's on, many of the streets are marked by art and graffiti, a sign that even the lowest edge of Katarr's will never bow to the galaxy they live in.

-White Lotus Den: The White Lotus Den is a small bar near the black sea. It is rather famous for being a place where information's are served as often as drinks. While run by the same group that owns the brokers in the Spheres of Ash, the Den aims at less exclusive guests. Known for being a rather strict establishment, guests are often thrown out of the Den if they decided to break one of the many rules there. These rules include a ban of weapons, violence and punishment for a lack of payment for drinks and Intel.

-Watchtower: In the south of the city stands the Watchtower, a home and bastion for the Warriors that march under the command of Darth Abyss. While many members of the Tainted Legion have a life and home outside of war, there a many under them that are nothing more then mercenaries. Build out of one of the handful buildings that still reach into the sky millennia after the fall of Katarr, the watchtower looks over the city, ready to send its inhabitants into the fight should there be an attack

-Crimson District: Up North is the Crimson District. Formerly known as the Red Light District, it quickly gained the name Crimson District for one simple reason: By being the most dangerous and gang filled place inside the city, the Crimson district became a proving ground for warriors of the dark side. The People of Defiance say that whoever can survive a week in the crimson district without friends and money can survive everywhere else in the galaxy. While the districts lures people with the promise of fun and easy love, it is far easier to get robbed, shot or at least beat up there than to get a drink.

History: When the Resurgent Empire, a new force of the Sith rose in around the ancient sith worlds, Darth Abyss, former ruler of the free cities of Malachor knew that his time as the Prophet that held all the strings on his world were near its end. While he had to leave to survive, he knew that his cities would live on without him, so he gathered what he could from malachor and faced a new frontier, a new world that would become a second haven of the darkness, a new collection of Free Cities.

Many followed the call of their dark prophet to Katarr, Scum of the Tainted city, Twi'leks of the Spheres, Droids of Firewall and even farmers of the Blessing, where a new city rose in reminiscence of the Free Cities. Defiance, another town of the free, a monument against those that mean to force them into submission.

Build in the ruins left on the dead world, the city grew quickly by using the scrap leftover by the worlds former population, and soon the first came to join this new home of the shadows. Like before Malachor, Katarr held a spirit that intrigued many all around the galaxy that wished to break their chains.

Intent: To Sub a town on Katarr which replaces the Cities on Malachor as Abyss main powerbase

Solid work as usual. However,

This seems unclear to me. Is this meant to function as a cloaking device?
