Death Watch has long been known as a very secular and set apart group. They have often been viewed as terrorists or outsiders themselves. The reality however is that Death Watch, at least this incarnation, serves the ancient Traditions of the Mandalorian People. Their ultimate and stated goal is to keep the Mandalorians within themselves.
The group ascribes to an extreme sense of loyalty to what it means to be Mandalorian, following in the path of Mandalore The Ultimate, Cassus Fett, and other ancient Mandalorians that heralded a great Empire for their people some three thousand years ago. It is within this image that Death Watch forges itself, and it is with this mentality that they move forward. Death Watch is neither xenophobic nor racist, but they are prudent when dealing with outsiders. Although they will not force outright rejection of those who come to the, Death Watch is careful in who it picks and chooses as it's allies, and even more closely, it's members.
Those who join Death Watch are stringent in following the three tenants.
Those who deal with Death Watch, but are not Mandalorian, are often watched carefully. Though not being Mandalorian means you cannot join Death Watch, it does not mean that you cannot work with them. In general Death Watch is accepting of outsiders as Allies, provided they are not force users or another enemy. It is important to note that an Outsider will only ever be an Ally, and can never aspire to be anything more unless they become Mandalorian.
To Death Watch, an outsider is simply that, an outsider.
They can never lead any facet of Death Watch.
