Deadliest Catch

A great and terrible roar reverberated through the darkness
Yellow eyes shot open and a man a little over 6 feet clad in black and yellow body armor stood to his feet and looked to the dreary sky of Corbos, the heavy clouds crackling with yellow lightning. The man's name was anybody's guess, but he was widely known as Horror. Heavy rain drenched his short salt and pepper hair and dripped off his goatee as he felt his forehead. He must've gotten knocked out, he thought. He never sleeps and even if he did, it would be ridiculous to do so in place like this. But by what and better yet, where was his helmet? Horror looked about him, though all he could see were the mountains and rocky plain he'd gotten used to hunting on in his spare time.

As if on queue, a tarentatek came charging at him from the top of a stone hill with his vaguely skull shaped helmet fitted neatly on it's left mouth-tusk. It lunged towards him as soon as it was close enough, baring it's teeth and stretching out it's clawed hands towards him.
"I remember now..."
Horror said to himself as he leapt beneath the incoming beast, activating his saber and sending the flat, black blade into it's stomach as they passed each other. Tucking and rolling as soon as he hit the ground, he halted at a kneel and drew his Messenger, twisting around and sending a powerful .55 caliber slug into the tarentatek's skull to secure the kill. But that was no queue to rest. Immediately after, an entire herd followed, easily numbering over thirty. Not so long ago, he had transported a male and female terentatek from Korriban so they could populate on Corbos, Horror remembered as he retrieved his helmet from the fallen tarentatek and took to the skies. When he arrived back to Corbos for some hunting today, he had no idea they would breed so fast. An entire herd of them came for him. But a few mere tarentateks didn't knock him out.

Flying well above and beyond the charging herd, Horror landed on top of a great cliff and took out a small remote. The tremendous roar heard before sounded across the landscape and a horrible beast that could only be called a leviathan came running towards him. It was a great beast; a pitch black mass of spikes, tusks and claws with six yellow piercing beady eyes that dwarfed the 20 foot high cliff entirely. It overtook the herd in it's beastly gait, crushing some of the terentatek underfoot as it made it's way toward him.

Horror's yellow eyes glaring into the leviathan's own, he was overcome with a powerful desire to kill the beast. But under his mask, he suddenly smiled. He had planned for an attack on this scale and truthfully delighted in the chance to cause such destruction as he was about to. Two more thundering steps from the leviathan and he pressed the button. Underneath the herd, a multitude of ground-planted explosives detonated, resulting in an earth-shaking explosion that damaged the cliff Horror was on nearly a mile away. Though he knew that wasn't the last he'll see of those creatures. This day wasn't the regular hunting day. Other than to kill animals and sithspawn, he was here for a very specific reason. And that reason would manifest among the visitors he was expecting any minute. Killing off all the game before they arrived would be a grievous inaccordance to his plans.

Sure enough, out of the smoke and debris rose a bleeding and very enraged leviathan stumbling towards him under the burden of a broken leg along with fifteen or twenty tarentatek. Upon the cliff, Horror's black darksaber blade hummed to life as the leviathan breathed a pillar of yellow flames into the air.

Dropping from the skies, having leapt clear from the wing of his ship, Damien saw a strange sight off in the distance. Though he had plans of a hunt of his own for Corbos, there was clearly a better pack to chase. Far to the distance were several Terentatek, and a severaly robust Leviathon that stomped amongst the smaller brutes. What better to attack then a massive horde such as that?

Then, a clear sign of another hunter sounded, in the form of a huge explosion beneath their feet. This was depressing, but not thwarting. Angling his lean form, which was covered in his Inquisitor X-1 armor, bearing his body glove beneath, Damien shot like an arrow towards the Leviathan first. It would take several moments to reach the beast, thus Damien spent time gathering energy along the fall. Leviathans were capable of sustaining several strikes against their hides before perishing, and thus he would hope to narrow that down by brute strength alone.

When the beast grew ever nearer, the screams from their natural defense began to hail against his mind. But being a mentalist, they did little when he threw up mental barriers. Igniting his saber, held in a reverse grip with both arms held ahead of himself he clenched his muscles and braced for impact. The sheer power behind such a blow against its temple, was harsh enough to knock the humongous opponent into the nearby mountainous ridge.

Drawing back, Damien swung his saber in a swift combo. Several X's began to appear along the flesh, but none broke the skin. Channeling the Force through out the cells of his body, combined with the strength of his enhanced Anzati physique, he finally broke through and struck directly against the creatures skull. But suddenly his footing lurched, signaling the beast rising once more.

Falling the rest of the way to the ground, Damien landed elegantly on both feet, already panting. Having knocked the largest threat clear over, the smaller creatures all turned to stare at their new opponent - but only a moment. Launching into action simultaneously, Damien moved to dodge as many blows as he could while running towards Horror, a man he was not surprised to find amongst the battle.

Leaping over clawed arms as they moved towards him, spinning to avoid rock shattering kicks, all the while countering whenever he saw an opening. One brutish Terentatek ended up with the entire length of his saber piercing armpit through to its brain. But that didnt say Damien went unscathed; the worst of his mistakes ended with his large body hurled into the form of a smaller Teren that he managed to slay by cracking his Ultrachrome armor into its dazed skull.

Finally breaching the edge of the group, he continued towards Horror whom would have no way to indentify his one time enemy - always prepared, by wearing a Taozin Ring. Sliding to a halt, he threw his sabers blade up to block a solid punch thrown his way by the humgonous brutes.

"Watch out!" Damien yelled, hurling his saber at the back of a hand that sought to grab Horror as he fought another enemy. Luckily the throw cut clean through the joint that connected the wrist to hand. However, this assist cost Damien. Caught with no weapon, when a long leg reached to stomp on Daemos, all he could do was hold his arms in a cross gaurd before his torso.

Launched through the air, with likely a few bruised ribs, Damien managed to correct his trajectory, landing on unstable footing.

(Remember man, these are Apex predators that Masters have to struggle to take down. Yeah were both REALLY fast comparatively speaking, that however doesnt mean we should OP this. Not saying anything, just a reminder lol.)
