LORONAR
2 Weeks Before "Chance Meeting"

Luck and Chaos, as Persenus said. That was all there is out there and the poor sleemo that he was killing rolled snake-eyes. After chasing him across the cramped business districts of the megacorporation infested planet of Loronar, by a stroke of "fate", the man tripped and fell off the edge just he leapt. He plummeted several stories but the hardy Zabrak wouldn't die so easily. Three broken ribs, a shattered shoulder, but even then, he crawled upon his knees, only to see in the reflection of the puddle the silhouette of Persenus atop the building, looking down upon him. He could hear the hum of his sabers activating, and immediately scrambled to get back up.

He was stuck in an alleyway with one exit leading out into the residentials and the other end blocked by a wired gate. Even with his injuries, he sauntered over to the gate to climb over it. Just as he grabbed onto the rails, the Zabrak felt the pull of "fate" once more. He skidded backwards, he back wet from the puddle from before. He groaned, feeling his injuries worsen upon impact with the ground. However, fear and adrenaline soon overtook the pain as he could hear the hum just above him. He opened his eyes, and he saw death.

"It is done." Persenus said to his Twi'lek Bounty Master. Placing a dismembered finger in the table with the cut-side cauterized, residued smoke still rolling off of it, he provided the proof his success. "South, between business and residential." He added, now waiting for his reward. Bounty Hunting was a complicated profession, even more so for Persenus and his reputation so he'd like such transactions to be as quick as possible. He knew that even if he so much kept his ankles in the water for too long, something will pull him deeper into the lake.

"We'll send a cleaner crew." The Twi'lek stroked his lekku agreeably, pleased with the quick results of the Exiled Sith. He placed the Sith Imperial credits on the table only to be shot an unsavory look from the exile. The Twi'lek chuckled playfully as he stowed the credits away, replacing them with Galactic Standard Credits. "Remember, Sith, you speak of this to no one, and I speak of you to no one."

Persenus did not reply, only giving him a steely gaze that showed professional understanding, yet irritation at such prodding. He took the credits, pocketing them into his sash. "It is done." He repeated as he stood up from his seat and moved out of the cantina. The pay was enough to get off this rock and fly.... somewhere. This was a quick one, luckily, the assassins won't catch up to him if he can keep this pace but the "fate" told him that it wouldn't be that easy. It never was.

The Twi'lek back in the bar smiled as he took out a bounty puck. Clicking the button, the Echani's face lit up in a hologram. He punched in a call for Bounty Hunters on the HoloNet. It was time to close some loose ends.
