STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
+ Very perceptive, with quick reflexes and a good train of thought. Concentration is key to his profession, and when required he will focus on the job in hand, remembering every detail and mapping every situation possible to act without hesitation.
+ Trustworthy, and proud of his standing with the side of good. While not very social, allies and colleagues are near enough family, and he will act to fight the good fight and protect those close to him without cracking to pressure.

BIOGRAPHY
Dax was born on Tatooine to mercenary parents in the Jundland Wastes. He is the twin brother of Kail Ragnar. Their father, ruthless but fair, didn’t want both his children to face the possibility of facing an early death on a dangerous world surrounded by mercenaries who attracted danger. Dax was born minutes after, and he was chosen to be taken to another Ragnar on Molavar, due North of Tatooine in the Outer Rim. Jeff Ragnar, Dax’s uncle, would be tasked to bring up the child and ensure he made just as good a life as Kail would be allowed to do on Tatooine.
Enjoying a steady childhood with good education and decent friends, Dax enjoyed the culture surrounding him and never left the Outer Rim very much in all of his years as a young boy and teenager. He broke some hearts and had his broken a few times as a young man, but used his dedication to work hard in a few jobs here and there to bring in a small income and help his Uncle as best he could who was a freighter pilot and smuggler along the Corellian Run. Dax was told by his Uncle that he was officially adopted by Jeff on request of his father from birth as life on his homeworld was too dangerous, and he wanted a better life for his son – Kail was kept a secret.
On his 21st birthday, Dax wanted a career that continued his growing interest in ships from his Uncle, and signed on with the freighter crew to work for them as a trainee. He learnt as much as he could about piloting, how ships worked and what it meant to help others in desperate times, and all the tips of smuggling to stay one step ahead of the law and those clamping down with an iron fist like the Imperial Remnant and the Silver Jedi.
He participated in regular flights across the galaxy, steadily branching out further and further and eventually had been involved in a number of hair-raising scenarios escaping pirates, the law and providing aid to civilians in war-torn planets from the Sith and Jedi conflict. Turning 30 and with a steady career ahead of him, a solid foundation of colleagues and successful operations backing him up, Dax finally took to running ships himself and leading others through dangerous territory where he continued to work, lead and learn.
It was during a number of operations in and around the Hydian Way that he crossed paths with a number of Galactic Republic pilots. When it came down to the fact both were on the same side of the fight against the Sith and working to provide what they could for under-privileged, the seed was planted for Dax to become something of worth and to make a real difference and to sign up with the Republic fleet as a pilot and navigator. From one-man fighters to Corvettes, he gradually learnt his way around a ship and how to handle them with a crew and on his own.
The new move even entangled him in the affairs of the Republic and the battle between mighty Force users such as Jedi and Sith but it continued to open his eyes to what was out there beyond the stars. Dax was trained to fly a T-70 X-Wing starfighter, and that was when the adventure really began.
From escorting political ships, to participating in bombing runs providing air support and to joining in with planetary defense when the Sith forces came knocking, Dax was thrust into a life where every second counted in the cockpit and there was no time to hesitate; it was kill or be killed, but he had the drive to do what he could for those who could do nothing.
With many new cells rising within the Republic, new resistance groups dedicated in their own way to taking down the Sith, Imperial and other nefarious forces of darkness in the galaxy, Dax Ragnar was kitted to help them, but he just had to find where his talent, skill and heart lay to make a good name for his family, wherever they were and if ever they looked to the stars and wondered what their son was doing…
