---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
- Exceptional intelligence
Dataru is exceptionally intelligent, even for a Givin. This extends to him being a brilliant strategist, a shrewd businessman and a being who knows quite a bit about science. He's also a great mathematician, like most of his kind.
- Surgical insight into people
Even though he's not a force user, Dataru can get the gist of what a person is thinking much like an expert in body language in real life could. He can't directly read feelings or thoughts like a force user, but can get a good grasp.
- Good shot with a blaster
Dataru is very good at shooting things, be it a person or a cruiser.
- Givin abilities
As a Givin, Dataru can resist a vacuum for quite a bit.
- Weak physical structure
Being skinny and skeletal, Dataru isn't particularly strong, though compensates for this with acrobatics and training in Teras Kasi. He's not force sensitive, but can fight remarkably well.
- Ego issues
Given his status and abilities, Dataru is often very overconfident, bordering on obnoxious. His crew realize this eventually.
APPEARANCE:
Dataru is a tall, gaunt Givin with the skeletal features of his race. He often wears expensive clothing, though when in battle, he wears skin tight suits that allow maximum efficiency when climbing.
BIOGRAPHY:
Dataru Moln was born on Yag'Dhul, the homeworld of the Givin. From a young age, he showed prodigious abilities in mathematics, science and military studies, even for a Givin. Though academically gifted, he despised the system of governance on Yag'Dhul. This is best exemplified by one of his conversations with a Jedi associate, where he said "The Body Calculus couldn't understand the Force if it shat equations infront of them". This led to him butting heads with several very important officials, who publicly asked him to leave. Though they were angry at him, they were impressed at his abilities and, in exchange for some advice on ship building, they gave him an explorer's ship, hoping to keep him away from Yag'Dhul and making impressionable youth flock to his ideas.
He then served as an explorer, mercenary, prospector, merchant and almost anything you could do with a ship equipped with top-of-the-line sensors. This led to him building a reputation among merchants and scum alike. He's known for his ruthless efficiency and his discipline, something that leads many, friend and foe, to like and fear him in equal measure.
