Intent: To greate cybernetic lings for @Dashka Soon and [member="Kami Meran"].
Development Thread: if needed
Manufacturer: Unknown / Dashka soon
Model: n/a
Affiliation: n/a Dashka soon and Kami Meran
Modularity: no
Production: Semi-Unique only 2
Material: Osmium, Dura plast, Orichalic and Titanium. uses specialized plastics ect and artificial lung tissue

Strengths: Allows the user to breathe properly.
allows the user to potentially breathe with a 100% increase in efficiency. but the user must be extremely fit to use it. this simply reduces a uot of breath cenario after lets say a workout.
can potentially allow the user to hold there breath for 20 minuets. on par with a force user using breath controle all though to no real comparison it simply Increases oxygen intake and retention.
Weaknesses: can be clogged by heavy dust or pollen.
is susceptible to EMP's and shock.
requires a exceptionally fit user to avoid rejection.
feel "heavy " to users making them feel top heavy. in Kami's case this made her have to relern her ballance.

Description:
created by the same inventor as all of Dashka's cybernetics. the lungs afe made tp act as a normal lung. with several advantages over normal lungs. such as filters, increased lung capacity and resistance to airborn toxins.
the lungs are powered by both a small electronic pack rin on bipelectrical charges and yhe users own diophrame. allowing for a normal breathing action.
the oxygen is stored in a bioplasmic gel that latches on to oxygen molecules and releases them in to the bloodsream.
as a result this acts as a back up in case of a electrical fault.
allowing the user to still be able to breathe withotr a motor. still the gell still requites qxygenation to work.
as a result thet wont work in say a vacume or heavy dust full arias.
the gell its self is not boyant making swiming feasable but difficult.
whie the lungs have filters scrubbing air toxins and poisons this is only on a small scale mormal filters such as erbreathers and gassmasks should be used.

What does this mean in terms of practical roleplaying terms? (Ex. Can they run longer, lift greater weight, etc).

The longest known time that a real life person has held their breath (without breathing in almost pure oxygen for minutes on end) was around 12 minutes. I can see around 20 minutes with some sort of enhancement.

Can you describe to me how this lung works? For example, does it use electronics to do the pumping action? Or does it still rely on the body's diaphragm? Or a combination of the two?

You could also talk about these lungs store oxygen, or more efficiently filter oxygen through the air, or even discuss the nature of the filters themselves.

Nothing practically. save not being out of breath after running

will edit. it was more a guesstimate. thank you.

combination. i will work out the detail.

i will work out the detail but i am having connection problems today.
