Character Darth Valar

Darth Valar

SpeciesPantoran
GenderFemale
Height5'5ft
Weight124lbs
Force SensitiveYes

  • Darth Valar, otherwise known as Sari Mukan is a Pantoran with dark blue skin, standing at 5'5" and weighing 124lbs. Across her face, a pair of golden horizontal lines sweeps towards her nose, facial tattoos that mark her former clan and the last remnants of her family; the metal pigments within glow faintly when she channels excessive dark side energy through her body, similar to the traditional glow of eyes tainted with the dark side.

Her hair is often left to flow freely, reaching to the base of her collarbones in a scragged mess that is often frazzled with a flare of flickering electricity.

The rest of her body is lined with years of training and dedication to the Sith ways, each lingering scar a memory of bitter defeat, to be repaid later with sweet victory.

    • Synthetic bodysuit

  • Sari Mukan believes that life should be a struggle, if it is to have any meaning; then one must be willing to fight for it with all they have. It is through that relentless struggle that one is forced to reach towards excellence, to prove oneself worthy or else face the consequences of failure. In that regard, she considers failure something of a process, a step that must be faced and then, in the future, overcome. Those who flee from such a challenge are nothing more than scrabbling cowards unworthy of her attention.

Ruthlessly driven towards whatever she sets her mind towards, Sari cares little for moral conundrums or the opinions of those beneath her. If they wish to make their opinion known, then they must carry the conviction to make themselves known and the fortitude to survive an argument with the opinionated Darth. They might even garner her regard in the process.

  • STRENGTHS

    • Strong-willed - Darth Valar didn't get to her position without having to prove herself countless times. Her convictions are forged of durasteel, and that which challenges her only makes the Sith more determined to prove her position.

    • Lightsaber Combatant - Darth Valar is a trained and capable duelist with a preference for the teachings of Form VII: Juyo, aggressive and violent, combined with the extensive integration of force powers typical of Form VI.

    • Force Adept - Talented with the more violent uses of the force, Darth Valar has a particular aptitude for Force Lightning and Telekinetic displays of strength.

    WEAKNESSES
    • Painfully honest - Raised by a liar and forced to shovel their inane words for years, Darth Valar has little patience for twisting the truth or the subtleties of other Sith's manipulations. If they allow her to speak, they should be prepared for the consequences.

    • Unforgiving - Over the years, Darth Valar has gained a reputation for the grudges she's maintained over the years and the effort she's gone to crush them. Her anger is a fickle thing, easily lit and quickly quenched; her hate, however, is everlasting.

    • Disdainful - Sari Mukan possesses little talent for expressing her emotions, without harming or dismissing the thoughts and feelings of others. She is harsh and cruel, a typical mindset for a Sith, though one that naturally leaves little in terms of close friends or allies that can tolerate her attitude.

  • Born on an insignificant planet outside of Sith space, the girl who would become Darth Valar had just barely received her traditional Pantoran clan markings when the world was raided by pirates intent on making easy credits. The first sign of their difficulties came when the trauma of her capture led Sari to crush one of the slavers; they had very little time before the next stumbled across them —a Sith vessel with a Darth willing to trade for valuable cargo —until a thoughtless sequence of insults sealed the crew's fate. Her training began shortly afterwards on the planet Korriban, a blighted world best left to dust, though it offered her valuable lessons that continue to serve her even to this day.

Her elevation to apprentice was a simple affair, chosen amongst a group of acolytes, with rabid competition and a whirlwind of betrayals and counter-offers that would have left Sari's head spinning if she hadn't simply cut through whatever stood in her way. Victory, however, was merely another step on the ladder as she found herself flung into the games of true Sith, another tool for her master, barely more valuable than the soldiers and mercenaries at his disposal.

In time, though, her master fell, another casualty in the constant wars that plague the galaxy. Since then, Darth Valar has stepped forward, eager to make her mark as something more than just another blade on the front lines.
